If you wish to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life, this is the place for you.

Gozo Green Living is situated in a quiet, bucolic area on the outskirts of Qala, yet at 10-minutes’ walk from the main square & all village amenities, at walking distance from some of Gozo’s most enchanting beaches, Gozo’s Stables and scuba diving facilities. Because of the sea views and continual proximity to the sea, hiking in this area is a breathtaking experience.

Here you can enjoy homemade, zero-mile organic breakfasts as well as "detox" for we’re transitioning to becoming an entirely green household. We're striving to use mostly locally grown food, straight from the farmer or shepherd. Besides eating organic, you will sleep in comfortable beds with bed-sheets in pure cotton, linen or natural hemp, & washed with eco-friendly, atoxic detergents that don’t irritate your skin or that of your children’s. To wash dishes & clean the house we only use natural or homemade detergents. So our household is especially suited for allergy sufferers & children.

OWNERS’ PROFILE Our names are Silvio & Patrizia- We have just moved to Gozo from Italy to complete greening our lifestyles and try becoming as self-sufficient as possible as far as water, energy consumption, & food are concerned. Indefatigable green activists, we are the founders of a multimedia web magazine on the nuts and bolds of living green. To flesh out the principles advocated by our green magazine we've come to live on Gozo where, hopefully, we are going to build our eco-utopia: an offgrid, bioarchitecture house with a backyard garden where to grow organic veggies. We're fond of art and traveling, especially on foot - hiking and trekking - and our rooms are full of some of our travel memories as well as artworks - drawings, pictures and paintings, as Patrizia is a photographer and an artist. We're still exploring the island on foot and guests are welcome to join in the exploration. Passionate cinephiles, we like viewing films and documentaries - some by us, as we're film-makers too - and share the viewing with friends and guests alike. We really enjoy meeting people from all over the world through our B&B activity, so our guests can occasionally share an Italian meal with us just by paying a small fee.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

In this bucolic neighborhood surrounded by fields, you will find farmers, nice villas with gardens & pools, as well as a shepherd with his goat and sheep. This allows us to buy really fresh food right from its producers. SOME OF THE MORE BEAUTIFUL GOZITAN BEACHES ARE NEAR HERE! The neighbourhood is also located close to many Gozitan highlights. You can walk or bike to some of the island’s most enchanting beaches, including Hondoq bay, Dahlet Horrot, San Blas Bay, and a few hidden gems that can only be reached on foot. They're all 30-40 minutes by walk from our house. We can provide instructions to help you find them. HORSE RIDING IS FIVE MINUTES ON FOOT FROM OUR HOUSE Another exciting way to discover the island’s best kept secrets is by riding a horse. If you, like us, enjoy riding or would like to learn how to ride a horse, Gozo’s stables are located at five minutes’ walk from our house. Around Qala it is also possible to practice scuba diving and rock climbing. The house is ten minutes away from Qala square where there are several restaurants, pizzerias, a pub (where you can also enjoy live music), a pharmacy and a health &organic food shop. Victoria, the capital town, is 20' away by bus, the ferry 15 minutes.

OUR ORGANIC, 0-MILE ITALIAN BREAKFASTS Our breakfast can be enjoyed indoors in the Old Room from 7.30 to 9.30 a.m..

Please, remember to turn off lights when you don't use them or leave the room. Light is a precious commodity, especially on a small island.

Guests' spaces besides their room: the "Old Room" or the Patio where they have breakfast, the pool deck furnished with long chairs and the roof area, equipped with a table and chairs. Please, always leave the spaces you use the way you have found them.

No use of kitchen, but guests are allowed to have their take-away meals on the Patio or breakfast tables, provided they are left clean and tidy.

We turn on the WIFI in the morning and off before bedtime to protect the household from unnecessary radiation.

A washer and an iron are available in a common area by paying a fee on use. Laundry area should be left clean and tidy. Daily cleaning is available on request and by paying additional fee.

Getting around

Gozo is a small island, the distances are really small, but to reach any place to walk resign ... ups and downs surrounded by nature in bloom ... most of the places are also reachable by bus, in the car easier but we highly recommend the bike or scooter, with which you can get anywhere.

Interaction with guest

We are willing to give you information about the island, the most beautiful paths and coves more features and nacoste, walking for more or less experienced to visit the island from coast to coast. We understand disponobili for romantic dinners with organic products of Gozo but with Italian cuisine experience.
