Description
Off the Square Guesthouse is very centrally located in the heart of the Artists' Quarter, just off the Ma'ayan Ha Radum Square and amphitheatre, where during the summer months many concerts take place including the Klezmir festival. The General Exhibition Center is just around the corner, as is the popular Etz Tut Café. It is just a few minutes walk to all the synagogues and galleries and there is free parking at the end of the small cobbled street.
There are two studio units. Both are suitable for couples and there is an extra pull out sofa for the additional child or two. The units are very spacious and have been lovingly renovated to a very high standard. They have large kitchenettes including fridges, hotplates and water urns for use on Shabbat. A large porch offers breathtaking views of the Meron mountains and the Ma'ayan Ha Radum Square.

“An amazing oasis”
I absolutely loved staying at “off the square”. The place was quaint, spacious yet cozy and immaculately clean. It’s a quiet osasis in the ancient city of Sfat. Sharon is wonderful. i can’t wait to come back.

“Great place, great location”
The appartment was very modern, nice, clean and in a great location. Good value for money and a very friendly, helpful host. Definitely recommendable when going to Tzfat.

“Perfect Safed Studio”
Located in the middle of the Artists' Colony in the Old City of Safed, we could not have asked for a better location. We stayed 3 nights and had the best experience. Sharon was extremely accommodating to all our needs. The studio had a mini kitchenette, a beautiful balcony with mountain views, and lots of space to spread out (we were 2 people). Very reasonable price. I hope to stay here again in the near future!

“Wonderful place and location”
I stayed here over a weekend. Sharon, the owner, was most helpful, helping me navigate the walk from the bus station to the studio. Now details. The guest home is about a 10+ min walk from bus station. It’s uphill and downhill. Or you can taxi it. The place: spacious studio, very clean, 2 twin beds, small frig (can make ice), coffee, tea, milk included. Shower is cozy (typical European) and towels are quite adequate. From the balcony you can see mt meron and get a pleasant cool breeze at night. Afternoon sun. Location: Very central to artist colony and synagogues and a 3 min walk (uphill) to a mini market, ancient cemetery. Remember that Tzefat is on a Hill! Recommended for 1-2 people!

“Magnificent suite in the heart of Safed”
This was our third stay at Sharon's since August 2016. We stay for extended periods of time as we come from far away to visit our family in Safed. The suite is extremely comfortable,conveniently located and impeccable and Sharon is always available in case we need anything. The guesthouse boasts a wonderful private balcony overlooking one of the charming narrow streets. There is plenty of parking nearby, the stores and restaurants on Rehov Yerushalaim are only a few steps away, and so are the artists' boutiques. We would not think of staying anywhere else.

“Just perfect”
We stayed 11 nights at this guesthouse. The studio is bright, immaculate and tastefully decorated, the a/c is efficient and the Internet works well. The beds are comfortable. There is a big patio door leading to a wonderful balcony. The studio is well located , right in the middle of everything in Safed. Sharon, the owner, replied immediartely to our emails when we booked. She gave us directions to get there and was waiting for us when we arrived. She is pleasant, helpful and discreet. Midway through our stay, she came in to clean the studio, change the bed linens and replenish the toiletries. We had an excellent stay and look forward to going back next time we are in Safed.
