5 BR/4.5 BA large home with tons of outdoor entertaining space. Sleeps 12. Located only two short blocks to the beach.

This lovely 5 bedroom, four and a half bath home is located only two blocks from the ocean in Historic Cape May. This impeccably maintained property was built in 2005, and features a great room with 20 ft ceiling and fireplace. A very large kitchen opens into the" Great Room" allowing for easy socializing in an open setting. The kitchen/dining areas have large sliders that open onto the back deck with additional tables for eating and enjoying the private back yard. The Master suite is equipped with a Jacuzzi tub and separate walk in shower.There is a back deck that faces south so it has sun all day. It runs the length of the porch with lots of seating and 2 umbrella/tables to allow any meal to be enjoyed outdoors. There is a 5 person hot tub on a step down landing attached to this deck. The front of the house also has a large porch that is a quiet place to go in late afternoon to enjoy the late day sunshine. The back yard is completely fenced in and surrounded by hedges that give you complete privacy on all sides. The back yard has many natural flower beds and raised bed vegetable gardens. Bird houses and bird baths attract nesting birds and other visiting species. We regularly see cardinals, hummingbirds and a resident hawk.

Cape May is America s first seaside resort, and is a truly unique place for a family beach vacation. Beaches are readily accessible and Cape May is a major flyway stop over point and one of the most popular bird watching locations on the east coast. There are a large number of first rate restaurants that offer you a wide choice of locations and atmospheres. There are live stage performances all summer at the Cape May Stage Theater as well as live concerts in Convention Hall and the Rotary bandstand in the park behind the Walking Mall. $350 cleaning fee assessed on all rentals. Owner provides pillows and blankets. Tenants are responsible for bringing sheets and towels.
