Description
Villa Sasso is a converted farmhouse set in about a hectare of gardens, orchards and woods. The villa has been fully restored, and looks out over a beautiful valley of fields, vineyards and historic hill-top villages.
Up to 17 people can be accommodated, in 7 bedrooms with 2 child beds. Cots and high-chairs are available on request. There is ample space to relax in the large sitting room, which includes wide-screen TV, DVD and an electric piano. The kitchen is large and well equipped, ideal for large groups.
There are excellent facilities for entertaining: terraces with tables and chairs for dining, and views over the valley, with the choice of sun or shade. There is also a barbecue. Badminton, table tennis and other games available to play in the open lawn areas.
There is a large orchard with many varieties of fruit trees, including cherry, apple, fig, pear, plum, persimmon and olives, which can be freely picked when in season.
The pizza oven has been restored and is available for pizzas and other baking. One double bedroom (with en-suite bathroom) is in a small annex, a few yards from the main house. The 12x6m pool is open from May to September.
