Description

The spacious villa is completely private as it sits within a large plot on top of a hill. It overlooks the S’Albufera nature reserve which is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and registered on the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The freshwater lake is the stop off point in Spring and Autumn for many birds on their way to and from Africa. From the pool area in April and May nightingales can be heard singing all day long. Hoopoes and turtle doves can also be seen and heard, while raptors such as booted eagle, kestrel and red kites soar high above. There are walks and trails through the parc and in Spring there are wild flowers in abundance including many orchid species - these months are a must for nature lovers! From the rooftop terrace there are only three other properties visible and two of these are set on a distant hill. Pool heating available AT EXTRA COST ON REQUEST outside of peak season at daily fee - please enquire for details.

“Lovely villa in a beautiful location”

Gorgeous villa in a beautiful location, we had a week of blissful isolation but within 10 mins drive had all amenities to hand. The villa was very clean and had all the necessary equipment, Jackie, the owner, responded to emails very promptly. This was the first time for us to Menorca, it is a beautiful island and we explored the different towns, beaches etc, however, we were always glad to get back to the villa and chill by the pool - says it all!!

Great service when booking the villa. Jackie was extremely helpful and very quick to reply to any queries. The villa is a very modern and clean environment for us to enjoy our stay. Our children enjoyed the swimming pool, wifi connection (Kids are easily pleased with technology these days) and Sky. A very pleasant stay in a very remote area. If you like peace and quite this will be your perfect villa. Only issues we had was the ants! But that's to be expected in a natural park. Recommend to anyone.

Unfortunately where ever you are, ants have a habit of finding anything from the smallest speck of food to a dead fly and particularly in the hot weather they can be tiresome, but not difficult to keep under control. I am so glad that you enjoyed the tranquil setting of the villa and that your kids were entertained by the pool (and wifi). You are more than welcome back if you ever decide to return to Menorca.
