Description
This charming private villa with its own garden and 10x5m pool is situated in the prestigious Domaine de Fayence and sleeps 6-8 people. The self-catered villa is ideally located 45-minutes away from Nice International airport, with popular Riviera destinations and beaches such as Cannes and Frejus situated about 30 km away. Fayence is one of the medieval ‘perched villages’ nestled in the heart of the Var region.
Our villa is set in this luxury resort, originally built within a former wood of French oak and pine trees. It has areas of olive trees and lavender too with well-maintained gardens. The resort facilities include a large communal swimming pool, tennis courts and other features including an exceptional Spa. The Domaine is located around 10 minutes away from the picturesque towns of Fayence, Tourrettes, Seillans and Montauroux - offering an ideal location for local restaurants and markets, vineyards, golf, gliding, Lac de St-Cassien and other amenities.
The 3-bedroom property is fully-furnished and is decorated in a classic provencal style. The kitchen is well-equipped with a separate utility room. The house has a TV with domestic and limited international TV channels, DVD player and radio. The villa has air conditioning, central heating, and a wood-burning fireplace. Bathroom towels and linen are included
Outdoors, the covered terrace and BBQ is ideally suited for meals and entertaining. The villa has a large garden and swimming pool with comfortable sun loungers.

“Everything we hoped for!”
The villa, pool and grounds were exactly as shown in the listing, and we felt very at home. Wifi was ok (essential for our teenage sons), although we couldn't get any English tv channels. The only thing we might have changed was the beds, which are very firm - but we realise that some people would like this. The Domaine de Vacances site is nice and was pleasantly quiet and peaceful - the public pool was never very busy. We didn't use the on-site restaurant even though it looked very nice, as we felt it was quite expensive, but there are plenty of good local restaurants. Local villages were pretty, and the people were friendly, although the driving was a little daunting - the roads are very narrow and winding! We visited the Lac St Cassien to hire paddleboards and canoes, which was good fun (the inflatable aqua-course was no longer in use, presumably because it was out of main season.) We have to mention the local contact, Monelle, who was really welcoming and helpful - she couldn't have been nicer - thank you! We would warmly recommend staying here.
