Uranya is an archontiko (stone mansion) originally built in the 18th century and transformed to an elegant modern family house.
The two-level stone house has been carefully restored with respect to its history and without sacrificing its original craftsmanship. It evokes and reflects Pelion's architecture of castellated houses of that period to the fullest. Key natural elements like the exposed stone and the wood ceilings take you back in time while the whitewashed walls and spirited color accents keep it playful. Cozy with intimate charm and inviting hospitality, the antique furnishings offer a traditional home-stay experience.
With a total of three bedrooms divided between floors there is plenty of space for privacy with the two bedrooms in the upper floor featuring their own fireplace. The main sitting area is flooded with natural light from over thirteen windows lined along a window box occupying the best area in front of the main fireplace for a warm gathering spot.
The kitchen is an efficient compact adaptation in stone and wood, and there is an adjacent dining area that accommodates six.
The terrace is a place to enjoy the views of the countryside, for peace of mind and relaxation. Uranya offers a unique and authentic experience and it's the perfect base from which to discover and enjoy the Pelion peninsula.
