A luxury home in a traditional farmyard setting with attractive gardens front and back, including a small wooded area. Completed in July 2012, it is five minutes walk from the centre of Annalong village, seven miles from Newcastle with sea views and five mins from the Mourne mountains. A traditional house front leads to a modern double height space at rear. We like to think you will not find a better stocked house with everything the discerning traveller could want, including a washing machine, tumble dryer and yes, a hair dryer (you have been asking!). Parking for four cars. We know you'll like it! Available now for 2018 bookings..

Getting around

Access to a car is preferable but not entirely necessary. A good bus service operates with bus stops, north and south, directly outside the front door of Church Gates.

“Family Holiday”

Absolutely amazing house! Beautifully decorated throughout. So many personal touches too to make it comfortable and homely. Everyday we discovered something new which just added to the wow factor! The pictures of the build are fab and give you a real sense of the history of the house. The location is brilliant with the sea just a 5 minute walk away and the pub can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes. Right at the foot of the Mourne Mountains too so loads of opportunities for walking. Gareth was in hand to answer an questions we had and check on/out was easy. We didn't want to come home!!!!

Fabulous, spacious, modern accommodation. Even more amazing in real life than the website pictures. Great location for exploring. Had a wonderful family break. Owner very helpful and responds quickly to queries. Will definitely return.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Gareth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
