Description

Due to COVID 19 we have had to change the way we do things and as a result we would ask you to bring your own bedding and towels.

Family owned 3 bedroom 8 berth double glazed multi room heated caravan available friday-monday (3 nights) monday-friday (4 nights) and Saturday to Saturday (7 nights) on an all year round site.

Our beautiful caravan sleeps 8 people in comfort with a double bedroom, a twin side by side bedroom. A bunk bed and single bedroom with a desk and a large pull out double sofa bed in the lounge. All rooms have wardrobes and storage.

There is a large bathroom with walk in shower.

The kitchen has all mod cons and features a gas cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster and kettle.

Bedding is supplied free of charge and beds are made for you so all you have to do is enjoy your stay with us.

There is a patio table and chairs for outdoor use.

Park passes are not supplied but can be purchased from Skipsea Sands Holiday Park reception

Strictly no smoking is allowed in the caravan.

The caravan is fitted with a smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector for your safety.

You will find a welcome pack in the caravan detailing all park amenities and local attractions you may wish to visit.

Well behaved dogs are welcome.

A travel cot can be supplied for £20 per stay.

“Excellent stay”

Arrived after a long Bank Holiday drive, was very easy to gain access after John's directions. Arrived at half past 4, was a bit chilly at first but after 10 mins was nice and cosy.... we already new covid restrictions was in place at the park park.but upon arriving we found lots of maps and activities that we could do. There was beach round the corner and even though it was tricky ro get to due to corrosion it was great when we was there. For the price we paid it was amazing.Overall we highly recommend it and we will defo be coming back. Thank u 4 a great stay. Thank u John n Co for a great stay

“Above and beyond”

We have arrived home today from a 4 night stay, had to leave a review based on the experience. There were a couple of issues when we first arrived but the owner, John bent over backwards to sort them out, for me it's not about issues arising, they often can and do, it's how it's dealt with. The caravan was spotlessly clean and well equipped, the bedding was very comfy and again perfectly clean. The table and chairs outside came in very handy too. Fantastic value for money too.

“Very enjoyable stay! Our dog welcome!”

Arrived at the caravan park around 2.20pm. Receptionist said with it being a private let they couldn’t give the key out until the time specified on the form which was 3.00pm. That was fine. We had a drink whilst waiting. The caravan was lovely. Everywhere looked clean and very tidy. The bedrooms were fine. Comfy beds and pillows and warm, colourful bedding. Good picture on TV. The fridge was roomy and there was plenty of crockery, pots, pans and cutlery provided. Plenty of room in the lounge area with nice seating. Hot water was plentiful and shower was good. Table and chairs provided for sitting outside, weather permitting. We have been to this site many times as my in-laws owned a caravan here a few years ago. It’s a shame that the road on the clifftop has eroded further in a short time. There is NO road now! You can no longer get directly down to the beach from the site. You have to walk quite a fair way on through the site and then through another site before you can get down to the beach and sea. We had our dog with us who was staring at the sea longingly and whining wanting to get down there! He nearly pulled my husband over the cliff on a few occasions! It was £5.00 per adult per day to have access to the onsite club, bingo and entertainment and swimming pool. £3.00 per child. My son, his partner and child paid this and said the entertainment was good. The drinks at the bar were quite expensive as per usual in these places. We didn’t try the food. My husband and I decided to go into the Skipsea Club which had just opened in April. The old club house (next to the chip shop) is now shut. The new one looks like an aircraft hanger. It is HUGE! So you no longer have to queue up at 7.15pm to get a seat as there are plenty! Unfortunately, because it’s so big there is not a lot of atmosphere, even though the club was full. Felt quite clinical to me. Anyway, the drinks and bingo are cheaper than the other onsite club. It costs £2 per person to get in per day. Not sure if children are free but very welcome as there were quite a few in there. Bridlington is 9 miles away from the site and Hornsea is 5 miles. Would we book this caravan again? Definitely! Had a really good time.
