“Perfect vacations”

Everything is perfect in Villa Carlos,good position 3 min walking from the beach,very well equipped and clean,the owners are very friendly and helpful,we will visit again and suggest to our friends !!

Response from the owner The reviewer made the reservation directly through our website via emails (kept in archives), without the intention of using a third-party booking engine (although the price being the same everywhere online). The final rate, to which the owners agreed to, was quite lower than the initial one and the reviewer signed the rental agreement (equivalent to a receipt) on behalf of the persons staying at the villa. Despite agreeing beforehand to deliver the whole sum upon check-in (as per the rental agreement requirements), the reviewer in question kept promising to pay us. After repeated attempts every day from the owners to Ivana P. to ask for payment, she claimed that she had left Greece and that she was in Croatia and started making excuses and falsely promising to deposit the amount to a bank account, which the owners provided. Nevertheless, the money was never deposited, and the group left secretly during the night, one day before the expected one, in order to avoid paying the amount due, leaving the house in a mess, with wine and alcohol spilled all over the floor and bed sheets. After the owners made use of a lawyer (after the reservation party had already left) in order to try to get paid, the reviewer started insulting and making threats to the owners, without ever paying the agreed upon sum and depositing the amount to a bank account. Regarding the validity of her review, there's evidence from the actual persons staying in the house, leaving reviews in our guest book, expressing their satisfaction for their stay. Nonetheless, we were ultimately taught a lesson on how to deal with clients like this in the future.
