Description

We, myself, wife & 2 kids live in Fort Cochin on Beach Road and are just a stone's throw away (1 km) from the town, local bus stand, ferry, places of interest and historical significance, in an excellent neighborhood. The beach and the remnants of the old Fort (from which Cochin got its name) is just a 5-min walk down the street; there is a walkway leading to the fabled Chinese fishing nets, fish vendors - from where you can buy the fish & get it fried at shops opposite.

We started the home-stay on the 1st floor in 2015 with three rooms ( bathrooms attached). There is a kitchen with utensils/ cutlery, Refrigerator, Coffee-maker, balconies on both the east & west sides, spacious living room where you can practice yoga, books for reading, rooftop for sunbathing etc. We would be happy for booking long term/ year round clients.

Bikes, cycles, Tuk-tuks, taxis etc can be arranged Walking is more fun because you will not miss out any of the details and can be seen leisurely.

We can give you a historical snapshot of Fort Cochin so that when you move around it will be more interesting as you can connect with this knowledge and why Fort Cochin is unique. Overnight House-boat trips can be organized as well as for day trips. Car & Auto arrangements can be done, as required.

Basically we discourage drinking, smoking in the rooms.
Smoking is allowed only in the east balcony, and on the roof .

Ik ben hier bijna drie maanden geweest ivm werk. Arthur en zijn familie zijn enorm vriendelijk en open. De kamer was eenvoudig, maar goed. Een heel fijne plek om kort of lang te zijn.
