Said to be a dreamland…Whether that is an exaggeration or not, you shall be the one to decide.
The estate is a pre-earthquake traditional mansion of Kefalonia, built in the early 19th century with great care, by real craftsmen who with their work praised the carving of the stone.
The building was declared in 1979 by the Minister of Culture as 'a historical monument', as it is a' typical example of traditional Ionian architecture with neoclassical art elements and is one of the few traditional buildings that survived in Kefalonia by earthquakes and now currently represent the architecture morphology of the Kefalonian houses that existed before the catastrophe of 1953.
With absolute respect to the character of the building, and in compliance with all modern requirements, the estate was rebuilt both internally and externally and is ready to welcome you to enjoy a unique experience. It has two floors with a loft and garden surrounded by two-acre lush and colorful garden.
On the ground floor there are two suites, each with a large en suite bathroom, a queen size bed, seating area and a safe deposit box. There is also an independent space with a desk and a library with PC, Fax and free Wi-fi. On the ground floor there is also a small private church dedicated to Saint Nicholas and Saint George, with a separate entrance and access point from the surroundings.
Upstairs there are two large living rooms, a dining room for a total of 12 people, a fully equipped kitchen with a second large dining area with satellite TV and and extra bathroom for guests. In the attic there are three bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom, with twin beds that can be joined together to make a queen size bed and panoramic views. All bedrooms have luxury linen and free Anne Semonin toiletries.
In the surrounding area, there is a private swimming pool of 45 sqm with umbrellas, sun loungers and an outdoor dining area, while the remaining space is landscaped with lawn, fruit trees and an organic vegetable garden for the personal use of the residents. Private parking places are reserved for tenants. Surrounded by high walls from three different sides to ensure privacy, the property offers panoramic views to the island of Zakynthos from its forth side.
The entire estate is decorated with selected collectible furnishings and pieces, both utilitarian and decorative, which derived both from Kefalonia and the Ionian Islands, but also from many countries of the world, as well as Persian carpets algae original paintings. The pieces were brought to the estate by the owners and were collected and found through their travels abroad.
The estate offers the luxury of a high class hotel, with the privacy of a home. A home away form home amidst the vastness of the island. Close to the estate, one may come across pristine beaches with endless azure waters, and an abundance of restaurants, mini markets, while the capital of the island is just 8 km away. The accommodation is ideal for various events such as weddings, christenings, anniversaries, party, family reunion gatherings.
