Jahazi House is a stunning private home set on a vast sandy beach!

Jahazi accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 roomes ( 4 double ensuite bedrooms each with private terrace and 1 master suite).

A full-time staff (housekeeper, butler, private chef, ...) is included in the house price. Jahazi is self-catering and menus (local food, vegan, seafood, allergy friendly...) are designed with you.

Relax and enjoy the Lamu's sun and beach in complete privacy of Jahazi's luxurious beachhouse with a secluded pool.

Ali the boat captain, will put the Jahazi House boat at your disposal, you wil only pay the fuel (price list on demand) Trips to Manda Toto Island for picnics and snorkeling, trips to Takwa ruins to see an ancient town lost for centuries, trips to Lamu town to visit the museum, the Swahili house set out to show how people used to live, the Lamu fort or German Post office with photos of long ago can all be arranged. As there are no roads, there are no strangers or vendors on the beach. If you desire, you can walk for miles along empty beaches. Return exhausted for a swim in the sea or pool and enjoy whatever Safari has prepared in the kitchen from fresh fish to lobster, crab, prawns and calamari.

*** COVID Info: All the Jahazi House staff is vaccinated against Covid. PCR tests can be arranged by our staff at Lamu hospital (no waiting lines) prior to your return flight if required. Results are sent by email & mobile within 24 hours. **** The owner/manager takes a personal interest in your stay and will guide you from the time you book until you arrive. Prior to arrival, he will take a personal role in organising menus, He will organise the shopping according to your preferences. On arrival Ali, Safari, Zahara, Gasper and Hamilton will work to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is unnecessary to arrive on holiday and have to wonder, what do I do now. Our aim is to make sure that does not happen.

How do damage deposits work?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jahazi (the owner) a message.

If Jahazi (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
