In the lounge a club chair for quiet reading moments and two 3 seater leather sofas among which one converts into a large comfortable double sofa bed. 32' LCD TV, DVD player and Worldwide satellite channels. WIFI high speed internet connection throughout the property/gardens. Patio doors open out onto a secluded garden.

A - SKIING:

The farm is centrally located to the famous Les Portes du Soleil (12 resorts 650km runs).

1) If you are looking for a family resort with multi-lingual ski instructors from the ESF, 10 minutes away is Bernex, a traditional and charming family alpine village with 15 lifts, 22 ski-runs that offers skiers 1,000 meters of vertical descent, and 20km (12 miles) of cross country trails.

2) At the same distance isThollon-les-Mémises, a pretty village in the most traditional Alpine style, and with stunning views. The village is known as the Balcony of the Léman, due to its location overlooking the beautiful Lake Geneva. The views from Thollon-les-Mémises are so glorious that they are actually mentioned in the Michelin Guide. Thollon-les-Mémises is a great ski resort for beginners and intermediate skiers and has 50 kilometres of runs served by lifts as well as 6km of cross country trails.

3) 35 min away, “Portes du Soleil”, one of the largest ski terrains in the world. To list some of the resorts belonging to it Châtel, Chapelle d'Abondance, Avoriaz, Morzine, Champéry, Morgins, Les Gets, Les Crosets, Val d'Hilliez, By connecting two generous skiing regions in the French Departement Upper Savoy and in the Swiss Canton Wallis, skiers have the largest internationally connected skiing region of the world available here. The slopes of Portes du Soleil between altitudes of 950 and 2450 meters thus offer no less than 650 kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes, requiring only one ski pass.

Thanks to approximately 200 lifts and over 250 slopes, the huge ski area can be enjoyed without a problem – without complications and long waiting times. A total of 14 villages on both sides of the border offer many variants of leisure activities and accommodation for every taste.

The nearby Portes du Soleil ski area

Wallrides, moguls, banked turns, step-ups, North Shore-style ramps... The Portes du Soleil resorts offer a wide variety of terrain features and obstacles for mountain biking addicts. And to bike from one resort to the next, simply peddle along the Tour des Portes du Soleil mountain biking trails. Morzine, Avoriaz or Les Gets are well know in france to offer the best mountain biking trails.

Canyoning, rafting, canoeing , riverboarding... The Dranse River (10 minutes away from our palce) offers white-water enthusiasts a descent of nearly 20 kilometres.

Aquatic centre: a 25-metre pool, a wave pool, a waterslide, a diving pool, whirlpool baths, etc.

A wide variety of activities: water aerobics, a water garden, swimming lessons, etc.

Fitness centre: 2 fitness-class rooms, 2 weight-lifting and cardio-training rooms, and a relaxation area.

The Evian swimming pool is equipped with a 50-metre Olympic pool and a beginners' pool, both heated to 27° C. The pool includes an area of the lake set aside for swimming (100 X 60 metres), with diving boards, floating landings and a variety of pool installations (including an iceberg and swings). It also houses a playground with two paddling pools (free and reserved for children under 6 years of age). The Evian pool also boasts: a 160-metre-long waterslide, a swimming school, water skiing, recreational areas (table tennis, beach volleyball and 'jumping ball') and a cafeteria with a terrace.

La Beunaz Lake beach – Saint-Paul

Located in the heart of the forest, the natural lake of La Beunaz will let you cool off and swim in safety with lifeguards. Children will enjoy the paddling pool, teenagers the diving boards and trampoline, and adults the restaurant and Finnish sauna. A unique opportunity to go for a swim at an altitude of 1,000 metres, in exceptionally clean, natural water (no chemical treatment). Pass over the lake on a Tyrolean traverse (the 'télébeune').

Activities: the Tyrolean traverse, pedalos, canoeing, tubing, an 'urban park' , aero-jump, quad biking, the Indian' Space, pétanque, table tennis and beach volleyball.

Underwater diving club - Evian

Fishing is a very popular activity on Lake Léman (perch, roach, trout, fera, char and pike).
