Description

Spacious, modern, very clean year-round cottage with cathedral ceilings overlooking Marble Lake near Cloyne, Ontario. This 3-bedroom fully furnished cottage comes with the following features for your enjoyment:

- indoor wood stove, outdoor fire pit, some free wood supplied

- eat-in kitchen with lots of counter space, appliances, fully stocked with cookware, dishes, etc.

- full washroom with one-piece bath/shower with shower door

- sleeps 8: 2 in a queen (main bedroom), 2 in a double bed (rooms 2 & 3), 2 on queen sofabed in the TV lounging area.

- piano, stereo, TV, VCR/DVD player

- modern BBQ with propane supplied

- air conditioning in one bedroom

- pillows, blankets, foam mattress topper for sofabed

- cell phone signal (Rogers/Fido). Very poor signal with other carriers.

- Wifi access 10 minutes down the road

Getting around

I strongly recommend you have a car as everything is spaced out. Cycling is fine but it will take a while to get around. There are no taxis, trains or bus transportation. The nearest bus stop to get here by Greyhound is in Kaladar about 20 minutes south. From there you will need someone to drive you to the cottage.

Response from the owner After Joy departed I inspected the cottage and found the blinds had been damaged with no note or communication from Joy at all. I communicated with her about possibly putting through a damage claim to get them fixed and she became very upset and defensive. Since I could not be 100% sure if the blinds were damaged by Joy and her party or just from wear and tear I did not proceed with the damage claim. I also found Joy was not accurate in just how big her dog was and also the TV remote went missing. As far as Joy’s complaints about the cottage this is the first I have heard of these things. It’s too bad some renters resort to posting erroneous information out of revenge. As you can see my cottage has great reviews from other guests and when they inform me about problems I take pride in dealing with them as quickly as possible. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out, Joy.

How do damage deposits work?
