This is a two-bedroom apartment with two queen beds. There's also a cot and high chair available for a small fee if needed. Don't forget to bring linen for the cot.

The Retreat is in a modern new building with a security entrance, which combines the beauty of a magnificent modern building with brilliant facilities such as a fully enclosed 25m lap pool, well-equipped gymnasium and many other facilities.

PLEASE NOTE OUR MINIMUM STAYS REQUIREMENTS BELOW:

Within 30 days, the minimum stay is 3 nights

30 days or more in advance, the min stay is 7 nights

90 days or more in advance, the min stay is 28 nights

We won't be able to accept bookings that do not meet the above criteria.

Service fee: $150 per stay

*Very early and late arrivals require the following fees to have someone there at these times:

Between 6:00 am and 9:30 am: $25.00

Between 5:30 pm and 9:00 pm: $25.00

Between 9:00 pm and midnight $55.00

Between midnight and 6:00 am: $100.00

SECURITY BOND

We require a minimum security bond of $600, which increases for long stays and last-minute bookings.

Getting around

Trams stop out the front, and they will take you anywhere you want to go. Direct routes go to Albert Park, and connect to St Kilda or back into the City and St Kilda Road around the corner, where you can connect to anywhere. You can walk through the Arts Precinct to the CBD shopping and Flinders St Station nearby, across St Kilda Road to the Domain and Kings Gardens or back to the Botanical Gardens & the Moonlight Cinema.

Interaction with guest

We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We generally check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day. A compendium with full instructions and local information is supplied in all of our apartments

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Sian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
