Georgia Rocky River Lodge is your dream Georgia cabin (along with our sister Lodge "Riverstone Lodge") waiting for a memorable vacation in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains near the quaint town of Ellijay. Our upscale cabin is located in the beautiful gated river community of Coosawattee River Resort situated directly on the river where we provide you canoes, kayaks, and tubes for your river adventure!
The cabin is outfitted with a large outdoor seven person hot tub, a game room with pool, foosball, and ping pong, and canoes and tubes for use. There are three spacious bedrooms that easily sleep 20 people, each with their own bathroom. Come and relax, you’ll never have to leave with all the amenities provided! Find out for yourself what our many loyal repeat guests have discovered about our North Georgia Mountain first-class lodge style cabin, maintained with loving care, that provide the ultimate relaxing environment for escaping the hustle and bustle of city life.
Come spend a weekend or longer in our cabin and feel the cares of everyday life slip away. Rocky River Lodge is located on the Coosawattee River and has a tree lined view. You can hear the sound of the rushing water echoing up from the river. Ellijay, Ga. is an easy, scenic 60-minute drive north of Atlanta by freeway and four-lane parkway.
Our cabin is available for rental year-round. Each season has its own unique beauty: dogwoods, mountain laurel, and rhododendron in the spring; the deep blue river with white accents, dark greens of the trees in the summer; a vast sea of hardwoods that are on fire with color in the fall; and, if you're lucky, a white blanket of snow in the winter. The Coosawattee River Resort community is packed with wildlife. Deer, turkey, ducks, and countless other forms of wildlife are destined to be observed on a long walk or drive through the mountain complex.
