Description
Mihaela lake retreat is a comfortable cottage perched on top of a village in Eastern Rhodope mountains in Bulgaria. Guests feel delighted by magnificent lake view, comfortable rooms, and local organic food coming from small local farms thus supporting sustainability of the region.
The accommodation comprises three guest rooms up to 6 people on the second floor. 2 additional single beds are available. Breakfast is included and served in the cozy dining room near the wood stove, or spacious outdoor veranda with lake view during the warm season. Dinner is home prepared and can be served upon request. Price listed is for 6 people.
Private green yard, parking, & WiFi available. Linen, small towels and shampoo included.
Laundry, ironing, hair drier & car transfers from bus station or airport available upon request.
The cottage is located in a peaceful bucolic area, dotted with cattle and sheep, and spectacularly hugged by mountain slopes. Lake Studen kladenets is in the Eastern Rhodope mountains, 20 km east of the city Kardzhali and 40 km south of the city Haskovo.
Activities include kayak paddling in the lake, hiking, mountain biking, boat tours and swimming in the lake, bird watching, plus exclusive wildlife photography and observation. Guests find the veranda of the cottage a perfect spot for bird watching and yoga retreat. Eastern Rhodope mountains are the kingdom of the birds of prey in Europe - whatever activity you choose, vultures and other impressive wildlife will escort your adventure.
