Villa Kallisto(the Greek meaning of Kallisto is beautifull one) comprises of two self contained ground and first floor luxury accommodation,with two fully equipped kitchens Luxurious open plan lounges & dining rooms balconies with breathtaking SEA VIEWS over to the island of Zante.Each lounge includes leather settees,flatscreen satellite tvs, Smart speakers the 4 bedrooms all with balconies have either SEA or MOUNTAINS VIEWS.Master bedrooms includes two en-suite bathrooms,one with full size bath.To provide accommodation

“A truly wonderful relaxing holiday!”
Having just arrived home, days after our perfect holiday, feel compelled to share some of this experience. If you are a Greek Island lover but Cephalonia is not on your list then this must be rectified immediately! I thought I had seen all over the years holidaying in Spetsas, Rhodes, Crete, Kos and Cyprus but have to say none are more beautiful than this island. Five adults and 5 children, we were looking for relaxation and fun but on arrival were immediately beaten down by the heat circa mid 30C’s, admittedly they were experiencing a mini heat wave but 10 Englanders flying in from the British summer of 2012, the low 20C’s would have been exhaustive…! Our ‘fall’ was caught by the beauty of this rock, completely dominated by Mount Ainos, nearly 5000ft high, the smell of pine, jasmine and bougainvillea and the colours. Brilliant blue skies, the green of the pines, greys of the mountain, meeting the yellows and whites of the sand and pebbles then disappearing into the aqua marine of the sea. Hollywood special effects? No! A dream, maybe… The ‘fall’ was cushioned and soothed by the clear waters of many of the local beaches which everyday declared an exotic looking fish or 2, something blue or pink striped of even a starfish, or deep red coloured crabs, incredible. And the clear and cleanliness of it all… Our base was Pessada, perfectly quiet except for the hum of our swimming pool filter and the background clicking of cicadas. This old and typically Greek village (still showing old building wrecks pre 1953 earthquake) is ideally situated, 15 minutes from the airport and Island capitol of Argostoli. A 10 minute walk to the local beaches, sandy or rocky, whatever takes your fancy or even a 45 minute ferry trip to Zante. Or our favourite, a 10 minute car journey to Lourdas Beach, nestling at the very bottom of the God like Mount Ainos! It has to be seen to be believed, walking out yards into the sea and turning back around to see the landscape and this mountain looking straight back at you. Breath taking! And who needs the south of France or Capri when you can follow the twisty, windy road from Pessada, a couple of hundred feet up the mountain making your way to Skala, looking down at all the pretty beaches, inlets and bays. All the usual amenities are to hand and a good choice of taverna’s and restaurants too but the car is a must and to think how small the island is, we only saw the southern parts. So, the North has to be visited, Sami, Fiskado and Assos resorts to name but a few. Even with 5 children ranging from 18 down to ten years of age we were completely able to wind-down, turn off the engine and almost throw away the keys and Villa Kallisto made this possible. A beautiful house, a beautiful spot and magnificent views… It wasn’t a dream, was it…

“Beyond expectations!!”
Villa Kallisto is simply stunning. It has everything you can possibly need, plus more. We we're a group of eight, staying in Kefalonia for a week for my sisters wedding. Having the villa split into two apartments was so convenient for us. Both the kitchens we're fully equipped, we also made use of the large bbq and outside seating for al fresco dinners!! The location was nice and peaceful, my only complaint about the villa would be the road that leads to it. We arrived in the evening and almost missed it. It's more of a lane than a road. However when did arrive at the villa we were overwhelmed by how beautiful it was. The owners were kind enough to leave cereal, bread, milk and a large selection of wine. So sweet and thoughtful. Many thanks to Mike and his wife. Also the lady who came in to tidy up and the lovely pool man.
