The Islands of Sanibel and Captiva, and the beautiful beaches of Fort Myers are a short trip by car. The area has many wonderful beaches which vary from white sandy beaches to a treasure-trove for shell hunters. Top quality Golf courses abound all within a short drive. The Edison museum can be found on the way to downtown Fort Myers.

“Beautiful villa in stunning location”

Absolutely gorgeous villa in the fort myers area of Florida. Easily sleeps 8 with 2 double beds and 4 singles in 4 bedrooms. En suite and separate family bathroom. Very well kept! Kitchen has everything you can need. Massive washer and dryer. Massive garage. Two large sitting areas and two indoor dining tables. Set on a lake with a fountain in the middle - stunning. Extremely clean, lots of towels provided. Extremely good communication with the owners. This villa has everything. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 was that the pool hadn’t been cleaned/skimmed before our arrival as the pool cover was on. The pool cover was quite old and a lot of the little bobbly bits had come off and were floating in the pool ( as such the pool cover is now being replaced). The filter had been turned off as the pool level was quite low. It was only a day before we left that the pool boy came and gave it a good clean. Others had visited before to try to sort but to no joy - the top of the pool had a definite film on it until it had been cleaned. The heating of the pool didn’t work properly after day one either and still wasn’t working when we left. My only other negative was that even though the villa slept 8, there were only 4 sunbeds. I asked the owner if there were any spare and he explained that there wasn’t much room around the pool so they’d decided to only have 4. I personally think 8 would’ve fitted but I understand what he said. I would definitely revisit this villa and would recommend anyone else to as well.
