Beach front 3 bedroom 3 1/2 bath luxury home located right on the Caribbean. At Magi Azul atmosphere is everything. Massive wood beams, stone floors and rock walls make this Moroccan/Caribe Beach House a one -of-a-kind vacation experience. Inspired by old European sea side homes, Magi Azul offers laid back luxury with panoramic views of the Caribbean, enclosed Balinese style garden pool, gourmet kitchen and an indoor/outdoor living area. Close enough to town to walk but far enough to have your own private beach. Ocean views from every room. In the summer turtle nesting months, we are one of a handful of homes located on a turtle nesting beach. You can watch turtles late at night right from your patio. Perfect for a romantic get away or a family vacation.

Response from the owner The title of this review “No Hot Water in Showers” is very misleading. In emails with this client he stated there WAS hot water in the kitchen, was warm water upstairs but not warm enough, and he said no hot water down stairs in the Master Suite. When a problem arises we fix things as fast as we can. But things do not always move as fast as we would like in Mexico. There was nothing wrong with the hot water heater or I would have gladly replaced it. We stay booked constantly with many glowing reviews on other sites. The 2 previous reviews this client references both gave us 5 out of 5 star reviews and unfortunately neither mentioned any issues with water during their stays or Armin would have shown them how to adjust the temperature. Often guests just don’t wait long enough for the hot water to get there or do not know how to adjust the temperature correctly. Since all the bathrooms and kitchen are on the same water system if one has hot water they all should have hot water. After the clients notified us on Sunday, the 23 of Dec. of the problem they were having our property manager went over there the same day and unfortunately the guests were not there, and our manager sent us a video of himself in the shower with the hot water running on his hand. The last email I received from this guest was on the 23rd. I answered him on the 24th and I never heard from him again so I assumed Armin had fixed any issues. It is never “bugging” me if I am trying to fix an issue for a guest. Despite the clients accusations that Armin was only there when they arrived, Armin not only came after we were notified the problem, he came later in the week again to clean the pool and sent us a photo of an excessive amount of rocks, shells and driftwood that he had to fish out of the pool that I am guessing children threw in that could have seriously damaged our filtration system. This guest also ordered golf carts in advance that Armin arranged to have waiting at the house for them only to have the guests back out of the arrangement because he wanted them cheaper leaving Armin, our manager, with the cancelation fee. This might explain why Armin was not eager to arrange other services for them during their stay. After this guest left we did replace the handles of the downstairs shower with an option that was easier for guests to manage. This repair involved busting the wall into the bedroom to get to the plumbing from behind with out breaking the tumbled marble tiles in the shower. This type of a repair would have been very disruptive during anyone’s stay as plaster dust gets everywhere. I apologize that this happened, but follow up works both ways.

Response from the owner Thank you so much for the lovely review. I will have the maid soak the shower head in vinegar. There is so much lime in the the water from the limestone the island is made of that things calcify very fast. I am glad you enjoyed the island and the house.

Response from the owner I am so glad you enjoyed the house. I am sorry about the absence of hot water in some of the rooms. Had I known I would have sent someone over. However, I believe all the rooms share the same hot water tank so if one had hot water they all should have. Sometimes you have to wait a while for the water to get there. Anyway, it sounds like you had fun. I am glad you rescued a turtle. I love watching them at night.
