Amazing Casa Bendicion Condo on Beach w/ Huge Pool

Isla Mujeres apartment

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Comfortable spacious condo in a tranquil paradise” This place has everything you need. We sought an island getaway "off the beaten path" and found it at Casa Bendicion. Owners are meticulous about everything. Jose was great. The grounds were spotless! The condo clean and stocked like a home. Too many good things too say here..we want to come back every year. Thanks again Connors.

“Great location and very friendly neighborhood!” I love having my own apartment while visiting the island for 3 weeks. Also love being away from all the tourist and living with the very friendly locals. It only cost 13 pesos ($1.00) to the center on town, or a 20 minute walk. Many delicious taquerias around the neighborhood. The apartment was very spacious and very clean. I had my private balcony which was great for my morning coffee. The room has a queen size bed, the mattress is "extra firm" it took me several days to get used to it. The kitchen is well equipped with a good chopping knife, cutting board, dishes and very good quality pots and pans. The aC is located in the bedroom and works very well, you only need during the night. The hot water is plentiful. Fabio was away during my one week stay and I was welcomed by his cousin Claudio, property manager. Claudio was was super nice and resolves things very quickly. As a Chicago host I know how important it is to have someone who is truly invested in making you stay a pleasant one and Claudio did so very graciously.

“Perfect Vacation on Isla” My husband & I returned from Isla a week ago. We shared the 2 bedroom condo with our good friend. We were hesitant to write a review, mainly because we don't want anyone else to find out about this place!! We loved Isla and Clyde's condo was the perfect place to stay; best view, unbelievable beach, just steps to Hildago Street, very clean unit with pleasing décor, and every amenity you could need. It had it all! Clyde was helpful from our 1st inquiry, to booking, to arrival. He will answer any questions you may have. The management staff on Isla (Connie & Yazmin) was also helpful and Diana, the housekeeper, was a gem. Take time to get to know them all. We are currently in the process of booking for next year - need I say more? Thanks to Clyde & Joan for "sharing" the beauty of Isla.

1 Bedroom Condo, Gorgeous Views of Isla Mujeres

Isla Mujeres apartment

“Vacation of my dreams!” I needed a getaway from Toronto, Canada. This condo in Isla Mujeres is fabulous, it has everything you will need and more. A short cab ride will get you to North Beach which is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets but if you would rather relax you have the terrace where you can also enjoy the sunset sipping on your favorite glass of wine. The grocery store Chedraui is a short walk away. All you need for your vacation is in the condo, safety deposit box, comfortable bed and sofa bed, microwave etc, etc, I walked in the mornings along a small lake which is a block away. You will be very happy to stay at Lool Beh!

Casa Cielo 2-4 BR Oceanfront Villa

Isla Mujeres house

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 5

“A month in the sun!” Casa Cielo is an adress to keep in mind. It is clean, has all the amenities of a mnodern home, it is well managed and sits at the outskirt of the main drag; yet a short walk to town. The back of the house is a mere rock throw to the Crabbean sea but the rocky shore and treacherous undertow is a major drawback. If one is in search of the idyllic, quiet, far away, nestled among a swaying palm tree island with endless sandy beaches there are far better options in the Carabbeans or the South Pacific. Isla Mujeres is a small and rather populated island. Cost of living is comparable to other island but taxi fares are some of the lowest I have seen. We enjoyed our one month stay but being somewhat loners,we would most likely seek different skies to blend with our solitary and aventurous spirit.

“Excellent time in Condo 403” If you are looking for quiet and peaceful this is a fantastic place to consider. The condo is fantastic, a/c in each room, bedrooms are great, 3 balconies, kitchen while not great is more than adequate. We had breakfasts in condo, about half our lunches and only cooked a couple of dinners - would like more dishes, cutlery if we had cooked more dinners as it is only outfitted with service for 6 and there were 6 of us, so it meant doing dishes after every meal. Beautiful, receding balcony doors for a complete open feeling looking out onto the Carib Sea. The building itself has a little gym, not great equip but enough if you are needing a workout. Pool area is fantastic, great size pool and nice hot tub. Beach area only good for lounging in the chairs/lounges, not conducive to swimming in the ocean in front of the condo are nearby. We went snorkeling once, nothing to see, and the sea floor in that area is mostly sea grass with sand/mud. Laundry facilities in the building are only for owners of the condos, but we just took ours down to the closest launderia, about a 5 min golf cart ride, and it cost 12 pesos per kilo, about $6 for a weeks worth of laundry for my wife and I. The condo is located in an extremely quiet area, would strongly recommend you rent a cart for the entire time, while seeming pricey at $50/day it was well worth it. It took us 12 mins to get from the condo to the "downtown" area for all the shops/restaurants and the North Beach. Every 2nd day we would load up our cart for the day and go to a beach club on the North Beach and spend the day there and walking into town for shopping lunch etc. The other days we would hang around our pool for the day. Evenings we would cart into town, or other restaurants close by, for dinner. Never a problem, as you were anywhere on the island in less than 15 mins in your cart. We did rent a "larger" cart, as we had 4 adults 2 kids (12 and 9) and it did go faster than the smaller carts.

“The Ideal Island Get-Away” We've had the pleasure of an annual holiday to the magical Isla Mujeres for the past few seasons. The feeling of joy on my return to Casa De Las Cupulas from the highway seldom matched at any point in the year. Memories of days lounging at the pool, and watching the sunsets from the roof are some of my favorites. Between the home's layout, interior design, top notch cooking and the attentive home owner, Case De Las Cupulas is the "real deal" in Island Luxury getaways. I have visited this remarkable villa with different groups and the home seems to perfectly suit all needs. David, the owner, does an excellent job asking for exactly what our party needs, and stays in contact thru out your stay to assure your stay is a wonderful experience. Amira the cook prepares the best breakfasts and lunches on the island. Make sure to try the orange liquor french toast! Overall, I would recommend Casa de Las Cupulas to all who seek rest, relaxation, attention to detail and luxurious comfort.

“Great place” Wonderful place on the quiet, southern end of the island. Property owners, Gary and anna are on-site,are gracious hosts and very nice people who will help with any questions that you may have or with any arrangements that need to be made. Rental units are essentially a large efficiency apartment with all the bottled water and other other basic essentials that you will need. Small pool is great for lounging. We rented a scooter in lieu of a golf cart and had great fun. We would rent again and may even do so next year.

About Isla Mujeres

Isla Mujeres lies mostly on the mainland of the Yucatan Peninsula on the shores of the blue Caribbean Sea. This is one of the municipalities of Quintana Roo, a beautiful stretch of coastal cities and villages that are so alluring to visitors that they are often called The Mexican Riviera. Like nearby Tulum and Cancun, Isla Mujeres is a perfect place for a tropical getaway.

Come here to relax on the soft white sand and forget your worries. Explore the trails of the inland nature preserves by jeep or zip line adventure. Visit the local Mayan ruins and learn more about the culture and history of the Mayan people. And make time to experience the marine biodiversity of the Yucatan Peninsula. Swim with dolphins, snorkel with sea turtles, or explore the shorelines and islands of this birdwatchers paradise.

There are plenty of fun things to see and do here in Isla Mujeres, but if you need help, here are a few additional suggestions as you plan your trip:

  • Go on a scuba diving adventure: The coral reefs around Isla Mujeres offer some of the best scuba diving and snorkeling experiences in the Yucatan.
  • Take an eco-tour by boat: Explore the coastal and reef areas along the coast with an experienced guide. Learn more about the biodiversity of the area and see whale sharks and sea turtles.
  • Play on the beach: Go swimming, surfing, boating or just relax on the legendary white sugar sand of Playa Los Cocos or Playa Del Norte.
  • Explore the Mayan Ruins: See the Mayan ruins and sculpture garden of Punta Sur. Take in the breathtaking scenery on this high ocean cliff, and watch the local iguanas lay in the sun and pose for photos on the rocks.
  • Go bird watching on Isla Contoy: Visit this protected sanctuary to see pelicans and dozens of other species of local and migratory birds.
  • Visit the Tortugranja Turtle Farm: The turtle farm, part of an ongoing sea turtle research and conservation effort, provides a home to several species of sea turtles until they are old enough to be released into the wild.

You'll never run out of fun things to do in Isla Mujeres. After a day of exploration, relax in a luxury spa and then experience the energy of local world-class restaurants and nightspots. You'll find endless ways to be inspired and entertained here, and you'll also find plenty of great places to stay. Look for a vacation rental close your favorite activities. Rent an elegant beach condo, a luxury vacation home, or a Caribbean villa with beautiful views of the ocean.

Paradise

I have stayed at several vacation by owner rentals and this one is near the top. Mr. Flores was a delight to work with and his brother who met us there, helpful and charming. I had a slight issue with getting the ac on and Mr. Flores had someone there within 30 minutes, by that time I had figured it out but they were there before I could get back to him. The pictures are accurate but the unit is better in person. The views were amazing and while it is a little hike up to the penthouse, no elevator, it was certainly worth it. This unit is well appointed and tastefully decorated. King bed was comfy, although sleeping on the futon not so much, but it’s a futon so that’s to be expected. A little piece of paradise on the quieter end of the island. Highly recommend golf cart rental for zipping around. Treat yourself, stay here, but let’s keep it a secret as we both will want to come back.see more

3rd Time is the Charm

We recently visited Isla for the third time and stayed at the best location yet, Cas Mar Turquesa.Ana was a great hostess, very friendly and always around if you needed anything. An added bonus for us were the additions of dogs Charlie and Ruby along with Gato the cat. The location was perfect, on the more quiet southeast part of the island, with great views of the ocean and a constant breeze. The property was green and inviting, lined with palm trees and gardens. The apartments are not large but perfect for two guests. We are already thinking of our next trip to the island and would definitely recommend this property, planning to return to it in the next year or so.see more

very nice rental with gorgeous views!

we spent five days in this rental and really enjoyed it. it is in a great location close to town and has fabulous ocean views. the rental itself is clean and has everything you need...coffee maker, dishes, silverware, etc. the bedrooms are spacious and each have their own bathroom. the only reason i wouldn't give this rental 5 stars is that there is no air conditioning in the main living areas and the air conditioners in the bedrooms barely cooled them off.see more
Elegant sea view apartment in Isla Mujeres
Quite wonderful

So having been to Isla Mujeres before, I knew what I wanted and that made my search a little easier. I personally wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, I wanted ocean front, a beach, a pool, space and relative quiet. With this rental we got all of the above, with spades and it made for an exquisite vacation. Vanessa was helpful before we arrived and had we need her help during the stay, I'm confident we would have received it. We booked airport transfer and ferry tickets ($98 total for a return trip) through Happy Shuttle and we rented a golf cart for the week $300 ish) and both worked out perfectly. We were met right outside the airport doors and provided with our ferry tickets. We had private transportation (though that may have been because it was a relatively quiet time to visit) in a new vehicle and both the greeter and the driver were professional. Once on the Island, it was a short walk to the cart rental and they were ready and waiting for me. The plane touched down in Cancun at 12:25 pm and we were in our unit by 2:30, it could not have been smoother. Once we arrived at Playa Del Mar, we introduced ourselves to Israel the manager and he walked us through the unit. It was spacious enough for up to 8 people but there were just the two of us so it seemed palatial. Unfortunately the AC unit and ceiling fan in the master bedroom were not working and that was about the only disappointment of the entire week. However the temperatures were steady at around 83/84 degrees which was heavenly but not oppressive and leaving the bedroom door open, kept it manageable in there. Of course we had the option of using one of the other bedrooms but the bed in the master was extremely comfortable so that was the only place to be. Walking out of the sliding glass doors we were ten steps from a gorgeous pool, 50 steps from a perfect small white sandy beach, 65 steps from the beautiful water and 90 steps from the long dock from which I happily fished each day. We did not feel a drop of rain the entire week and there was always a heavenly breeze which meant you never felt overheated. I think during our stay, no more than 10 other people were present and that was totally fine with me. To our immediate left was the Izla hotel with a nice bar and restaurant and next to that was the famous/infamous Ice bar a very popular destination for tourists from the mainland and a variety of vessels (some very luxurious) started arriving in the early afternoon. However while they were clearly NOT tea total cruises, they did not bother us at all and our private little piece of heaven stayed that way throughout the week. The building to the immediate right was under construction, but the noise was nothing consequential and the workers did not start before 8:00am any morning. As stated, we were there strictly for R&R and we certainly got that. We stocked up with an abundance of goodies from the Chedraui grocery store so that we could enjoy breakfast (some days) on the patio and late afternoon and even later night drinks on the lounge chairs by the pool, on the beach or on the bench at the end of the dock, it was perfect!! I have stayed at all inclusive resorts before but that really isn't necessary or desirable on Isla as there are so, so many tremendous places to eat and drink regardless of your budgetary restrictions. Isla Mujeres is also the safest foreign place I've vacationed at and I'm very fortunate to have traveled extensively. I strongly suggest you get out of downtown and explore some of the places elsewhere on the island and if your Spanish is even remotely serviceable explore some of the tiny eateries in the backstreets in the center of the Island. This is where the locals live and eat and there are some true gems. Of the more established restaurants, we had incredible breakfasts at North Garden (near Playa Norte) and at the Mango Cafe (more centrally located but still easy to find). We also had amazing dinners at the Sunset Grill (the most delicious Grouper dish I've ever eaten) and the very elegant and unique Rosa Serena's where they pay real attention to detail to ensure you have a great experience. In addition, we had great casual lunches at Caribbean Brisas and Madera Food and Art on the back side of the Island and some of the art and craft pieces they have for sale are truly beautiful so it is well worth a visit. Rikki (female) will explain all her organically sourced work in great detail and it is worth seeing I promise. Isla Mujeres is not pretentious in any way, but it has amazing people and some breath taking beauty. If you are looking for opulence and luxury everywhere go stay at Villa Rolandi and don't wander offsite but if you do that you will be missing out on an absolute treasure of an Island. It is a place that has captured a piece of our hearts and we intend to return again very soon. As a tip, iIf you want to buy some of the gorgeous shells that are for sale everywhere, you can pay hundreds of peso's in the more touristy areas, but if you venture on the the back side of the Island (open ocean side) or down Carretera Sac Bajo (the dead end road down to Dolphin Discovery also the road our beautiful unit is on) you will get some amazing bargains. In these places, you can buy the exact same beautiful shells for as little as $1 US or roughly 20 peso's. These local vendors are just trying to make a little money to get by but they are the salt of the earth and even if you don't buy from them, they will still smile and wave at you as you go by. Thank you Vanessa and Flipkey as well as the wonderful people of Isla Mujeres for allowing us to create some amazing memories!!see more

Incredible views!!!

This is an amazing apartment. It's a large 2 bedroom with a full kitchen & there are 2 outdoor spaces. There are marble floors throughout. What really make it special though are the incredible views from every room. If you've gone to the South Point and pulled over to admire the view, this apt. offers it from your own private space. I've been travelling to Isla for almost 25 years. I went to see this apartment when I was there in June in the hope of finding the next best space for rent. Its just come on the market and is owned and managed by Vicki who is the owner of Lost Oasis. I expect it will become quite popular once the word gets out.see more

Amazing Honeymoon

My husband and I stayed at Casa de las Cupulas for our honeymoon. It was absolutely amazing! The island itself is gorgeous with breath taking sunrises and sunsets, and to be able to rent out this home on the island, made it even more wonderful. The house was kept clean daily by the staff. The grounds were pristine and the pool was always clean and free of any leaves. There are hammocks out by the pool to lounge in, wonderful pool chairs to lay in with umbrellas for shade, and a comfortable hanging bed with netting around it to keep bugs away. The pool also features a swim up bar and a tanning ledge to lay on. There is a patio out by the pool with a cover that includes a sink and counter top space. The owner, David, always kept in touch and answered any questions we had. He also recommended activities for us to do and provided us with instructions. He was very accommodating the entire trip and always made sure we were enjoying ourselves. Amira, the cook, was amazing! Each meal we had was delicious. One of our favorite meals was the garlic and lemon shrimp. It was the best shrimp we ever had. There was always fresh salsa, guacamole, and pico de gallo with lunch. Every day was wonderful and full of excitement. There are many things to enjoy on the island including the temple that is just a short walk from the house. There is a beach club that is also a short walk away from the house that includes zip lining, snorkeling, and kayaking. We recommend renting a golf cart at least for one day while on the island to visit the north side to go to the beach and visit some of the restaurants there. We ate at a delicious Mediterranean style restaurant, Olivia. We highly recommend eating there one night of your stay! If you are looking to relax and have the perfect getaway, we highly recommend staying at Casa de Las Cupulas!see more
