“A month in the sun!” Casa Cielo is an adress to keep in mind. It is clean,has all the amenities of a mnodern home, it is well managed and sits at the outskirt of the main drag; yet a short walk to town. The back of the house is a mere rock throw to the Crabbean sea but the rocky shore and treacherous undertow is a major drawback. If one is in search of the idyllic,quiet,far away, nestled among a swaying palm tree island with endless sandy beaches there are far better options in the Carabbeans or the South Pacific. Isla Mujeres is a small and rather populated island. Cost of living is comparable to other island but taxi fares are some of the lowest I have seen. We enjoyed our one month stay but being somewhat loners,we would most likely seek different skies to blend with our solitary and aventurous spirit.

“Amazing” This rental is amazing. We have stayed both on the bottom and the top. Love them both! Comfortable, clean. Separate bedrooms and baths for kids. Ocean front! Easy walk to downtown! Great kitchen, with fridge and dishes etc! Want to go back now! On top you can see the sunset over Cancun!

“Villa Tranquilla was perfect for our group!” Before and upon arriving Vicki was fantastic! Very helpful and just all around wonderful to work with. All of her recommendations we spot on. We were a group of 4 couples so we rented the entire villa and it was perfect! It was so nice get together in the main living area or retreat to our bedrooms when we wanted more quite time. There wasn't much of a beach and the water was rough on our side but it was fine because the villa was only a mile away from the north beach in town so we would just walk or hop in the golf cart we rented from town. Some of us are runners and had no problem feeling safe enough to go out for morning runs around the island. One morning we ran down to the south tip of the island and had breakfast which was great! Never once did we feel unsafe or threatened and by the end of the week we almost felt like islanders. The only thing that was not so good was the water pressure wasn't the best in the master bedroom which made it tricky for showering and flushing the toilet and the sun could've came out a bit more, but other than that it was great! If you're looking for a place to accommodate 8 adults comfortably, this is the place. If you are used to an all inclusive luxury kind of vibe then this is not the place for you. But if you have a group of friends/family that like to have fun and be on your own if you want then Villa Tranquilla is perfect! We will definitely return in the future!

“Hammock heaven!” My husband and I and our 2 adult children were very happy with our stay at Casa Tranquila. The casa was clean and comfortable and the outside space upstairs was fantastic. We loved the hammocks and spent a lot of time reading and relaxing in them. We were close enough to town that we could walk there in 20 minutes. We felt very safe walking and never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a cab. Being close to the air strip was not a problem, we never heard any air traffic noise. The casa is right on airport Road which is fairly busy so there was some traffic noise, especially in the front bedroom. The weather was perfect and being on the windward side we always had a wonderful breeze. We were warned that few places take credit cards and we found that to be true. Don't even think about travelers checks because nobody will take them! One small snag was that our cell phones did not work on the island, so when we arrived, we had to ask our cabbie to call Vicki to meet us at the casa to check in. Our favorite restaurants were Mango Cafe for breakfast/lunch, Lola Valentina's and Limon for dinner. Try the Hibiscus margaritas at Limon, wonderful! We had a great time and hope to return to Isla Mujeres soon!

“Really pleasant place to stay!” The house is gorgeous and well-maintained. The pool is cold but refreshing. The staff was amazingly helpful with any questions we had. Really it was a great place to stay on Isla!

“Excellent villa - Pool to yourself!” I and 5 friends stayed here for a week from June 1st. The villa is fantastic - I was lucky enough to get the Master Suite which is a fantastic size, had two wardrobes, an en suite, a fantastic huge bed and of course, Air Conditioning. The other rooms were also a good size with air Conditioning as well. The pool is fantastic as we found out from Daniel that only 2 of the villas in the complex are rentals so you pretty much have the pool to yourselves all day - it was because of this that we hardly went to the beach! The villa is in a fantastic location for the beach and had a convenience store and a pharmacy just outside the complex. The complex itself is literally opposite to the entrance to Secrets - The Vine hotel which can be seen from anywhere in Cancun. A short walk takes you to a mall and a fantastic Mexican Grill Would recommend this to anyone considering it. Daniel is always available on email and was very friendly at all times. He was able to recommend nearby restaurants and bars and nothing was too much trouble. He was there to meet us when we arrived at the Villa and the Security Guys based at the entrance to the complex were able to arrange taxis and also hold the keys for us when the group went to different attractions. I can't recommend this enough

“Villa Maya Cancun Mexico Downtown suburban living” We spent 1 week in Villa Maya with our 2 sons ( 4 and 8 ) and just had a wonderful time. Villa Maya is clean, comfortable, well kept and in a safe Residencial Neighbourhood in Cancun. The Beaches were close,..either by public Bus or by VW Bug that we also rented from Mattias. The reservation process was easy and quick,...we actually stayed in all the properties from the owner,...and actually enjoyed all of them. Will come back again ...

“Guest” Our stay was a true delight. The owners are great and offer their full hospitality at all times. I was impressed with the level of customer service provided to us. Rosaura's patience and flexibility helped us through a difficult time. She helped us feel grounded immediately and found several organic eateries which are difficult to locate. The owners made our stay worry-free from beginning to end. They truly made our stay in Cancun a "home away from home". In fact, we lived among the locals and felt like we were locals as well. The house is very spacious, especially for three of us. Truly a great experience. We will be back to Cancun again and feel like we have we have built a good friendship. Angela H.
