Description

GREAT LOCATION at very good value for money!!! My place is close to the river Ganges and 1 minute walk from the Kailash Ashram. Ram Jhoola, Swarg Ashram and Dayanand Ashram are all at a 15-20 minute walk along the river bank. All the local amenities are within a stone's throw of the location. Suited to anyone whether you are looking for somewhere to stay for yoga or adventure sports or just enjoy places in Rishikesh. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. All the local amenities (daily needs store, grocery shops, ATMs, pharmacy, medical clinics, eateries, stationery shop, etc) are within a stone's throw of the location. The accomodatiom is less than 100 meters away from the Kailash Gate square. Ideally located to get anywhere within Rishikesh especially easy to get to ashrams, yoga centres and rafting operators dotted in and around Muni-Ki-Reti, Luxman Jhoola and Tapovan. You can walk or catch local transport to get to any of these places easily from the accomodation. The guests will have access to the roof of the house that presents some really good views of the surrounding area (check the photos) - Gangaji, Luxman Jhoola and Swarg Ashram.

Plenty of walking options - walk along side river Ganges or walk in the forest 5 minutes away from the property crossing Kailash Ashram along the way to Bhadrakaali. The river Ganges is just couple of minutes walk away from the location.

It is a private room available on the ground floor. We (owners) live on the first floor and are at hand for any help and, if you want, - to socialise as well. Both floors have separate entrances. Light breakfast can be arranged upon request with the owner.

The house is located just before 'Shri Purnanand Intermediate School'. If you search for this school on google map you can check the relative distance from all the popular destinations in Rishikesh. The map on Tripadvisor shows the exact location of the house which can be checked on Google Map in relation to the school.

I am retired now but have close to three decades of experience of working in the Garhwal Tourism industry. I hope the guests can benefit from my local knowledge and I would be more than happy to make recommendations for Yoga, local scenic/religious sites, trekking routes and adventure sports such as water rafting and bungee jumping.
