Think of Akasha as a mountain lodge for wellness and conscious living.
Akasha Wellness Retreat is currebtly being run as a retreat centre for yoga & wellness. We organise weekly retreats throughout the year for maximum 20 guests offering 3 daily organic meals, boutique accommodation, spa area & therapists in house, sauna, hot tub, yoga classes & nature walks.
We are also able to offer our space with in house staff for hire for large groups or those that wish privacy, luxury & nature.
Our secluded, hilltop retreat center provides a quiet environment for complete body & mind renewal supported by the practices of yoga, an organic nutritionally balanced diet and the undisturbed beauty of the natural world. With beautiful gathering spaces, lovely lodging, and plenty of fresh air and space, your group will quickly appreciate the power and wonder of their time here.
At Akasha you'll surely find the cleanest air in the world!
The yoga & massage classes are optional & not included in the rental of the space.
ACCOMMODATION
We can cater for maximum of 20 guests at one time within the centre. Guests have the option to choose between twin sharing rooms or private double rooms. As each bedroom can either have a double or twin beds.
All Rooms have en-suite bathrooms, quality linen & towels, organic toiletries, private seating area, hairdryer, cotton bath robe & slippers, daily housekeeping.
For larger groups we can offer more accommodation by arrangement with a near by B&B ( 100m distance).
FOOD & Kitchen
We can hire the space with or without staff. If you would like daily meals we can certainly organise this for you in advance. All our meals are cooked by trained chefs and are all organic.
Usually we offer three delicious organic meals daily. Our menu can be personalised from a range of seasonal options including catering for paleo diets, gluten, dairy & sugar free, vegan, vegetarian or juicing diets.
If you or your guests have a specific dietary requirements we're happy to discuss. All menus are sent to you for approval before arrival.
EXCLUSIVE UNLIMITED ACCESS
Unlimited use of:
- Indoor gym or yoga shala ( 55sq m) and all props - yoga mats, blocks, straps and blankets,
- outdoor yoga platform ( 50sq m),
- three south facing terraces,
- gazebo & BBQ area

- Salt & hot tub all with unspoiled mountain views.
ACTIVITIES & SPA

- Access to diverse activities from horse riding, hiking, adventure sports, skiing & more provided with local experienced guides - we welcome you to incorporate these offerings into your schedule (pricing varies).
LOCATION & TRANSPORT
Our retreat centre is located 30 min from the medieval town of Brasov. Frequent train services are available from Bucharest and Sibiu to Brasov city station and take about 2.5hrs. There are two major airports for Romania, Sibiu and Bucharest and both have frequent european and international flights. It takes about 2.5hrs to reach Akasha by private transfer from the airport which can be arranged with local drivers.
