“Lovely location, property not big enough for our group” Location great, 100m from road, v quiet (except for barking dogs 50m away.) Patio to the rear & small balcony to the front gave places to sit & enjoy the sun throughout the day. It's a 1km walk down into Bran (local shop & pizzeria 200m). House did not seem v new, but nicely decorated & well provided w equipment (utensils, hairdryers etc.) Only 1 towel pp for a 9 day stay. Some problems w leaks from outside & in toilets during visit, which housekeeper took steps to remedy as soon as he could. Downstairs bedroom smelled musty & sheets damp when we arrived, but room soon aired out. There are 3 bedrooms, plus 2 small half lofts accessed by steep loft ladders & open to the bedrooms below & a sofa bed in the living room. The beds in the half lofts are folding and not large enough for most adult males. There was v little storage space for luggage, clothes etc in the main bedrooms & none at all in the attic bedrooms or lounge area. 3 toilet & shower rooms en suite w the 3 main bedrooms, 1 toilet downstairs & jacuzzi room in attic situated between 2 attic bedrooms. Jacuzzi: Housekeeper has to be notified to come & fire up the boiler for extra hot water. We made mistake of having showers before jacuzzi was filled, which meant not enough hot water again & housekeeper had to come back to see to boiler. Then he had to come back a 3rd time to give instructions on using it, & despite his best efforts it didn't function properly (no bubbles). We couldn't be bothered to try a 2nd time, & comments in visitors book suggested there might be limit on number of times you could take a jacuzzi anyway. Visitors should be aware that open main stairs, loft stairs, unprotected patio & low balcony would present dangers to toddlers who would need to be closely supervised. The loft stairs are only for the agile! The owner is v helpful, providing good information on suggested outings, restaurants etc prior to visit & always accessible by SMS if problems/questions arise during the stay.
