This Luxury Stone villa is located at the spiritual heart of Kefalonia, close to the Monastery of St Gerasimos the Patron of the island! Built on 7000m2 of private grounds is a classy and stylish accommodation with traditional style, perfectly matching the location and overall atmosphere of this unique place. Developed entirely with stone, wood and top quality materials, maintaining a sense of tradition while providing luxurious amenities, it consists of two levels and can accommodate up to 9 guests in 250m2 with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Marble floors, high ceilings, stone walls, exposed beams and high quality furnishings creating a sophisticated air. Entering the villa you'll find the main living area consisting of a cozy living room with a charming fireplace, a pool table, a comfortable sofa, armchairs and a big flat screen TV. From here, large windows open onto the beautiful outdoor covered terrace equipped with a large outdoor dining area inviting you to enjoy your meals in the refreshing mountain breeze.
The dining area features a wooden dining table and is filled with natural light thanks to a big window by the table. The kitchen is very spacious and fully equipped. On this floor there is a spacious bedroom with a baby cot and two bathrooms with shower.
From the dining area, a staircase leads up to the second level, where you'll find three double bedrooms, individually styled and decorated, equipped with queen size beds (one of them has also a single bed for a child) and all featuring their own private balcony with wonderful views. On this level you'll also find a second spacious bathroom with a romantic bathtub.
A few meters from the pool, there is a fully equipped gym, ready for a rejuvenating training. Take big breaths smell the clear Kefalonian air, with scents of olive trees, pines and eucalyptus. You are on holiday but sometimes that is just the time to kick off a new fitness program or you may just want to carry on your regular routine. Featuring a spacious 60m2 room, two en-suite bathrooms where you will find all the necessary, the top quality fitness equipment and the decor will boost your athletic spirit!
The outdoor space consists of 7000m2 of colorful gardens, cobblestoned walkways & traditional touches, a covered outdoor patio dining area and α 8mx4m private pool with relaxing sun beds, sofas, loungers and hammock. Piedra Villa is located in the village Troianata Kefalonia, an ideal location to enjoy the privacy and discreet isolation of the place, but is still very close to all the points of interest, beauties and attractions of the island and the city center, Argostoli.
Having secured a rental car, everything is within little distance, as of course the sea where the closest beach to Karavados is 6km, or else, less than 10 minutes driving. You can even faster find the mall, gas station, supermarket and pharmacy as they are all within 4 km only. On the way back from shopping -and even more close- the imposing castle of St. George, in the nearby lush green hill, is a one of the most beautiful and historical sites of the island.
In the evening for dinner, the area has many good restaurants where the nearest is at just 1 kilometer from the villa.
The airport is also close 11km / about 17 minutes by car and the center of the island's capital, Argostoli, is at 10km / 15 minutes drive.
Finally, do not forget to visit the shop of the cooperative of the famous -and exceptional one -wine "Robola" which is at 1.5km distance from Piedra Villa Kefalonia!
