“What a disappointment”

Reviewed 17 Jun 2018

This cottage looked fantastic on the Sykes website, however, it is not a four star residence at all. There is one full (tiny) bathroom, a shower in a cupboard in a bedroom and a shower in the utility… More

Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to provide your comments. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with your chosen property. The property owner was upset to hear you were not satisfied with the standard of the property and would have loved the opportunity to assist you during your stay. We take all feedback seriously, and the property owners have since fixed the gates so they are easier to open as they were quite stiff, however they were not locked at any time during your stay. The owners have also also addressed the paving slabs in the garden, which have been cemented back down again. The hardwood bench on the patio area has also now been replaced. We are sorry to hear that you feel you were unable to make use of the garden area, the gardener has unfortunately had an accident recently and has been unable to attend to the outside areas, but the owners have now sourced a replacement gardener. Thank you once again for your comments and for bringing these points to our attention. Kind Regards, The Customer Service Team
