Description
Mountain Song is located in the foothills of the Besparmak mountains just below Karmi, arguably the prettiest village in North Cyprus with its picturesque restored stone houses and delightful gardens, excellent restaurant, coffee shop and wonderful pub making it a delight to visit. Our house has been built on a 3rd of an acre in a private and secluded position with extensive gardens including a pool with a large sun deck area where you can marvel at the swallows dipping into the pool in the heat of summer. The surrounding landscape is captivatingl affording panoramic views of St Hilarion castle, Karmi and the coast below. Inside the decor has a contemporary but homely feel where you will find a large living room, separate dining room and spacious well equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms downstairs with the master bedroom with ensuite located upstairs complete with large terrace. Outside there is a bbq and pool side dining area. If you are interested in walking or hiking there are several trails starting outside the villa's grounds. I
The beaches and Kyrenia are only a 15 minutes drive with Ercan airport 45 minutes and Larnaca an hour and a half. Car rental can be arranged along with airport transfers which will ensure there will be no difficulty in locating the property upon your arrival.
If you are looking for an idyllic, relaxing place to stay then you need to look no further than Mountain Song.
NB Our house is new to Trip Advisor, however we have had several rentals over the past few years and received excellent reviews.

“Mountain Song visit”
Very enjoyable visit, the kids and ourselves really enjoyed the pool and the visits to escape and golden bay beaches. Villa is very well equipped, any issues were dealt with by the agents, Pete and Sylvi. As it is high up in the mountains, it is very quiet and has stunning views. Only minor issue was the taxi driver not knowing where it was on arrival, it is secluded, but we eventually got there, oscar car rental sent a better driver on the way back. As it is up in the mountains and it was time for trees to be cut back near electricity pylons we did lose electricity for a few hours. We visited Karmi village which is even higher up in the mountains. Overall a very good holiday and it was nice to compare the north and south parts of Cyprus. Eating out is cheaper, Lemar supermarket has a good selection and some groceries are cheaper but prices are fairly equivalent to UK. Nicosia was easy to drive to and we visited the bazaars for shopping.
