This is our cozy suite in which a couple or small family will be very comfy, and most likely appreciative of our recent REMODELING of the unit. And the furniture (queen sofabed with nice memory foam mattress) was replaced as was the refrigerator. The old walls were replaced with the beetle kill pine boards, installed on 45 degree angles for a bold, rustic, yet unique look.

The kitchen area has all you need in sizes that approximate what you have at home, with all the cookware, utensils, etc you will need, including a marble counter. There is a fireplace, and the door to the patio, all in your same 1 room studio. Our patio faces the mountains! The queen bed is a regular comfy queen bed, with the exception that it is a Murphy bed that folds up to the wall when you wake up.

And boutique is the word that comes to mind, when you take in the bathroom. The real head-scratcher comes when you try to figure out how this beautiful modern bathroom ended up in the mountains like this. It features a 6 foot soaker tub, and a full empty linen closet, so you can spread out and make yourself at home. The vanity features modern lighting and plumbing, and a rectangular sink bowl.

A large front closet, appointed with full length mirrors, and our business license on the wall are what you see as you exit the electronically secured door. About 10 paces out our first floor door is the public laundry facility, and about 3 steps from that is the doorway to the parking area. Prime location.

NOTE that this unit has a "lock-off" door to another unit that we also rent. It is a "Standard" King bed room that resembles a hotel room somewhat. That Flip Key listing number is 8680481 if you would rather look at it as a less expensive alternative with less options. If you would like to check your very best value and have all the space and two full bathrooms that both units offer, check the Flip Key/Trip Advisor listing number 8642741 for the calendar and pricing, etc. on it.

Getting around

Check into new Greyhound service coming up from Denver, scheduled in 2021!! Also, Amtrak's California Zephyr makes two stops per day in Granby. Otherwise there are rental cars-a-plenty at Denver International Airport. There is also a city bus that makes a number of stops each day at the end of our buildingfor local County travel.. This bus will take you to Winter Park, and downtown Granby, and everywhere in between. Since the stops and route change periodically, contact us for their current schedule, or look up The Lift (in Winter Park, Colorado). We are not allowed to post any contact numbers here.

Interaction with guest

The Inn has a full time management company on board on site. They handle your check-in, maintenance, etc. This unit is individually owned by our family, and it is our personal get away and hope you will treat it as we do so you can enjoy it on your next visit in at least the same nice shape as you found it.

If you want to spread out a tad bit more on your next trip up, the "Standard King" unit number 426 is ours as well, and is adjoined by the lock off door you probably saw in the unit. “Perfect condo in an excellent location”

The condo was exactly what we were looking for; it had recently been remodeled and it is beautiful. The location was perfect as we were able to quickly access Granby, Winter Park and Grand Lake. The drive to Rocky Mountain National Park via Trail Ridge Road was easy as well. The owner, Kevin, was fantastic! I heard from him prior to our arrival and he provided relevant, timely information. He was very responsive to questions and was a pleasure to work with. I would absolutely stay here again!

How do damage deposits work?
