“relaxing time in the mountains” This is a great place to stay near Grand lake, rocky mountain national PK and winter park, clean, safe, hot tub, pool, restaurant with sports bar on site . good places to eat within 5 min drive or walk across street to grocery store Mc D, subway, this studio can be rented alone or with an additional adjoining room with king size bed and separate bath room for an additional cost of course. We have stayed here before and will again. The studio has a pull down bed, from the wall, and sofa bed, both are comfortable. Touch base with Kevin, he very nice and helpful can answers any additional questions. Check out Adams Falls trail very easy short hike to great views.. Granby lake and Grand Lake area 20 min drive.

“Peace and Quiet on Sun Valley Lake” We love staying at Sun Valley Ranch. Our favorite time of the year there is late summer into the fall, and we try to stay there every year (as a home schooling family we have the liberty to go there in the off season). Sometimes we stay at the Bunkhouse (featured here), and sometimes we stay at the Lodge. The Bunkhouse is charming and cozy, clean and homey. And quiet. We sleep contentedly in comfortable beds with fluffy pillows and down comforters. Best of all, the Bunkhouse sits right next to Sun Valley Lake. On crisp fall mornings, we build a fire in the stove; it crackles and pops, while we fry bacon and brew coffee (can you smell all those smoky aromas blending together)! It's just what you'd expect for a mountain retreat nestled on the edge of a lake! We enjoy watching the elk, moose, geese, and ducks. Sometimes we fish in the lake. The air is fresh. It's a great place to really relax and enjoy creation. Sun Valley is close to hiking in both Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, and arapaho Nat'l Forest (also XC skiing if we visit in the winter). In fact, the Forest is almost literally next door! The Bruton family is always welcoming. We have been staying at Sun Valley Ranch since our kids were small and we lived in Nebraska. So even though we live in Montana now, we still try to go back to Sun Valley in Colorado every year. We are happy to highly recommend it!

“Great value, comfortable accomodations, and great owner” The owner is responsive, prompt, and courteous. We've used this condo every year for the past 11 years, and until recently, I had never even spoken to the owner- all email and all arrangements flawlessly executed, every time. Accomodations are comfortable and casual. Best feature is that this condo is directly next to the clubhouse and ski shuttle stop- very convenient! We love staying here.
