Crayfish Cottage, Portrush: Spacious, stylish, seaside cottage 2 minute drive to East Strand Beach and Portrush Harbour. Free-WIFI, wood-burning stove, super-comfy beds, two separate lounge areas, family-friendly (cot, toys, dvds, family games and jigsaws etc), "secret" garden, patio and BBQ area, private off-road parking, brilliantly-equipped kitchen and utility room.
Built in the 1930s, Crayfish Cottage is a traditional seaside cottage packed with beautiful art deco features, but with all the comforts of a thoughtful, modern restoration.
Sleeping 6 - 2 double bedrooms (downstairs), 1 twin bedroom (upstairs) - each bedroom offers crisp white sheets and snuggly duvets. The family bathroom has a shower, separate bath and complimentary Faith in Nature toiletries. The fully-equipped kitchen leads to the dining area. Drying room with washing machine, tumble dryer, full height fridge freezer and storage space for rods, clubs, boards, boots and other kit.
Deep armchairs and sofas surround the wood-burning stove in the lounge . The Reading Room on the first floor is a place to relax, read and play games. With a twin bedroom just opposite, this makes a brilliant top floor hang-out for younger guests in the family who get to enjoy their very own space.
With downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms this property would also be suitable for older guests and those with limited mobility (apologies - no wheelchair access).
There's plenty of outdoor space too with a lawn area at the front and a hidden "Secret Garden" to the side with BBQ area, picnic table and patio creating a magical space for sitting under the stars (yes, perhaps with a coat on knowing our weather!)
Crayfish Cottage is a two minute drive or a 10-15 minute walk to the heart of Portrush town right amongst favourite restaurants, bars and shops. The nearest supermarket is a 5 minute walk away.
