Description
A fully equipped Beach Holiday Apartment, a few mins walk to the stunning Blue Flag Alum Chine beach and a 15 minute walk to Westbourne village.
We would like to reassure all our guests that we are taking Covid 19 extremely seriously. We have implemented changes to our already high cleaning standards. Once the apartment has been thoroughly cleaned with our usual products we will then be disinfecting the entire apartment with a hypochlorous acid spray ( 100% safe for humans, chemical free, non-toxic and all-natural ). Including all high touch surfaces, kitchen gadgets, cutlery, crockery, carpets and furnishings. All bed linen and towels will be washed at 60c . All beds and pillows have protectors which will also be replaced as part of our cleaning policy after each stay. We will then ventilate the rooms for a few hours before allowing new guests to enter. We would ask guests to remove shoes before entering the apartment to reduce any contamination. Hand gels and antibacterial soap will be provided.
It has two double bedrooms and a large L 'shaped sofa in the lounge that sleeps two people comfortably. From the balcony there are sea views and amazing views over the tree tops of the famous chine.
It's perfect to explore the world famous Jurassic coast and the beaches and heathlands of Studland bay, only a short ferry ride away by car or bike. Bournemouth town centre is only a stroll away along the prom offering great bars and restaurants and shopping.
Stunning Beach Holiday Apartment, only a few minutes walk to the stunning Alum Chine Beach which again has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag award for its world class pristine golden sands, excellent water quality and safe bathing and also proclaimed by Tripadvisor in 2019 as the number one beach in the UK.
The Anchorage is one of six apartments in a large house. It has two double bedrooms, one with a King size bed and the other with two single beds (which can be converted to a King size bed if requested) It has two a large L 'shaped sofa in the lounge that sleeps two people comfortably. From the balcony there are sea views and amazing views over the tree tops of the famous chine. The apartment offers all the modern conveniences and, as it has all been recently replaced, everything is in perfect order. From the balcony as well as being able to see the sea, there are also amazing views over the tree tops of the famous Alum Chine.
Located in a quiet residential area and only minutes from the beach, makes it the perfect place to relax. There really is no need for a car as most places are accessible by foot, Beryl bikes or local transport. It is ideally situated, making it the perfect base to explore the area such as the world famous Jurassic coast and the beaches and heathlands of Studland bay, only a short ferry ride away. For the more active holiday makers water sports and golf facilities are all within easy reach. The apartment lies within a twenty minute walk along the promenade to Bournemouth pier, where there are a wide range of shops and restaurants (or a five minute noddy train ride). A ten minute stroll up the tree lined chine to Westbourne Village will take you to a host of pubs, restaurants and shops as well as a Marks and Spencer food hall a Tesco Express, a local butcher, artisan bakers and specialist delicatesans. Heading west along the promenade you will reach the stunning Sandbanks beach with all its water sports and restaurants including Rick Steins new fish restaurant.
For the young families The Anchorage is perfect as Alum Chine offers a clean safe beach free from dogs as well as a small play park and paddling pool. All accessible from the apartment without having to cross any roads.
Excellent Transport links: 20 minutes from Hurn Airport, frequent train links to London Waterloo (1.3 miles to Branksome station, 1.9 miles to Bournemouth station), bus services to Poole and Bournemouth 5 minute walk.

House rules
We are happy to welcome well behaved dogs. Under no circumstances must the dog be left alone in the apartment. Dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture.
I do not take a damage deposit however if something is broken or spilt (accidents can happen) please let me know immediately so we have time to repair or replace for our next guests. We don't have much time on changeover days.

“Perfect, bright apartment close to the. Beach”
Very close to beach on a pleasant road. Beautifully clean and nicely decorated. The whole apartment was bright and sunny with light flooding through the large windows. The owners live downstairs and were incredibly helpful. Our children and grandchildren visited while we were there and loved it. Local restaurants were very good. We would visit again and definitely recommend it to friends and family.
