South Forda Park. A 9-acre oasis of countryside calm ideally located within short distance of North Cornwall & North Devon’s finest beaches and attractions.

We offer 4 self-catering lodges within beautiful grounds, each with either a private veranda or garden.

At South Forda Park we embrace a ‘laid back luxury’ approach, offering stylish accommodation with all the comforts of being at home. No need to leave man’s best friend at home either as 3 of our 4 lodges are dog friendly. As our guest you are free to roam amongst the 9 acres of woodland and meadows we have to offer, including access to fish in our 2 x coarse fishing lakes. Alternatively, if fishing’s not your thing, you can choose to read a book with a glass of wine alongside the river!

“Relaxing 'home from home' Pet Friendly retreat”

I contacted Elliott prior to my arrival with a couple of questions to which he responded to very promptly. Chester (my dog) and I arrived at South Forda to be greeted by Elliot who was very friendly. I ordered my online shopping to arrive shortly after - red wine open; sitting on the terrace with a good book and the late summer sun was just idyllic! During my week I visited Port Isaac (a must if you like Doc Martin!), Clovely, Boscastle, superb beaches, Tintagel and Cloyde ... after my day of adventure with Chester returned to my Lodge and continued to enjoy the views from the terrace. An absolutely superb setting, walking in the 'fields' behind the Lodge (did not manage to get to the Lakes within the complex). My partner arrived later in the week and our adventures in this area continued. Have to say the standard of the lodge including fixtures and fittings (and the little extras) was of a very high standard (quality was obviously of great consideration when selecting everything for this refurbished lodge). Well done on your first year in this idyllic setting Elliott! Will definitely be recommending your 'refurbished' lodges to family and friends!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Elliott (the owner) a message.

If Elliott (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
