Description
Joglo Gumuk is a traditional Javanese house, situated around 8 km South of Yogyakarta, surrounded by beautiful farmlands of rice fields and vegetables. Enjoy the atmosphere of a historical house in the mid of rice fields and tropical vegetation.
The spacious house has an open kitchen, dining and living area, as well as a separated kitchen storage. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, oven, stove and kitchen utensils. Our staff will directly prepare there your breakfast in the mornings. We have a coffee roastery and offer freshly roasted coffee for breakfast.
There is one bedroom with a comfortable bed as well as a spacious bamboo sofa bed in the open living area.
Our open-air bathroom is set in a small tropical garden with hot shower and a sunken bath. We provide eco friendly, locally produced soaps and oils for shower and baths.
FOOD SERVICE
We offer breakfast, prepared by our staff. We also arrange delivery of traditional food from the village for lunch and dinner.
For breakfast, you can choose among a variety of Western and Indonesian meals: bread and eggs, muesli, oatmeal, rice porridge, Nasi Goreng (fried rice). Every breakfast is served with tea or coffee and a selection of tropical fruits.
MASSAGE
We arrange massage for guests by massage therapists from the village. On request, our staff is making an apointment for a massage.
YOGA
We just newly built a place for Meditation and Yoga. It is equipped with Yoga mats for your own personal movement and meditiation practice. We can arrange upon request a private Yoga teacher
COMMUNICATION
We offer a mobile phone with an Indonesian SIM card, so guests can arrange appointments and tours.
LAUNDRY
There is a laundry service based on your needs.
