Description

Rowan's Wroxham Cottage sleeps 8 guests in 4 separate bedrooms making it ideal for families or groups. The accommodation comprises of an open plan fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar/dining/living room, french doors leading out onto a decked area, 2 Double bedrooms with flatscreen tv's, 2 twin rooms, a family bathroom with shower over bath, plus a shower room on the top floor and downstairs WC. We hold a 4-star rating from Visit England and have been awarded Certificate of Excellence 2018 & 2019 from Trip Advisor. We were awarded Travellers Choice Award for 2020 from Trip Advisor.

Getting around

Everything you need for a full and enjoyable self-catering holiday is available within a short (5 to 10 minute) walk from the cottage, including boat tours, gift and souvenir shops, a department store and supermarket, plus of course assorted pubs and restaurants. For the more active, self-drive day boat hire, canoe and cycle hire are available very locally – and of course, there’s free fishing available on-site.

Interaction with guest

There is a key safe to the left-hand side of the door, which houses the key to the property. The key safe number will be available on your arrivals letter, together with additional car parking permits should they have been lost from the welcome pack in the house, together with internet wifi name and password. In cases of emergency with the property, you will find a number to contact on the front page of the welcome folder, for a person to come out to solve any problems.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rowan (the owner) a message.

If Rowan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
