Description

La Betania has been recently renovated to a very high standard to create a superb family home in one of the most beautiful valleys in the area, the Ribera de Gaidovar, and just 3km from the pretty village of Grazalema.

**In these times of Covid-19**

As a precaution, for both guests and cleaning staff, in addition to the recommended additional disinfection, the property will remain closed for a minimum of 52 hours between guests.

It is designed to enjoy the immense nature that surrounds it with large windows and doors opening onto the patio and porch and is set in extensive grounds, bordered by olive trees, sheep, and the river Gaidovar. The property offers off-road private parking.

On the ground floor, a large open space has been created, where you will find a practical kitchen with all the utensils and high quality appliances, the dining area and two living rooms facing east and west. There is also a downstairs washroom with a WC.

The first floor consists of three double bedrooms, with beautiful views. Two bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and there is a third bathroom in the hallway. There is a laundry room with washing machine/dryer, iron and ironing board.

The house is very comfortable, cheerful and quiet, cool in summer and equipped for winter days with underfloor heating and wood burning fireplaces.

Outside, there is a patio facing the river, with several flower beds and aromatic plants where you can enjoy views of the surrounding countryside. This is connected to the second patio, with a porch and a large table for outdoor dining. It has a fountain made with an old millstone and access to the parking area.

The Betania is ideal for couples, group of friends or families. In La Betania you will find guides and information to take advantage of all that Grazalema and the area has to offer.

Getting around

La Betania is 3km from the village of Grazalema. There is private off-road parking on the property. From Grazalema there are several daily buses to other nearby villages such as Ubrique and to the historical town of Ronda. The house is only 30kms from Ronda, a monumental and romantic town. There are two daily buses to Málaga that pass through Ronda. The nearest train station is in Ronda. We have four airports nearby: Malaga, Seville, Gibraltar and Jerez de la Frontera. Seville, Cadiz and Malaga, are approximately 2 hours away by car. The centuries-old wineries of Jerez de la Frontera and its famous Andalusian horses are only an hour away.
