The tiles have earned the freshness of Provence, its garrigue scent and the murmur of his former figurines. In the distance the bell tinkles Blanchette. You are good to the country ... Daudet's windmill blades hunt mistral but straw hats remain quietly in their place under the bright beams. A former mill on the Moder in Northern Alsace, the passion of writing and books, the desire to build a project in two, it was enough to give life to this place Alphonse Daudet No would not have disowned him, the lover of Alsace he surveyed in 1865 and he calls "one of his most beautiful travel memories" in the Monday Tales. Daudet so, but Colette, Jules Verne, Molière and Cocteau inspired our five charming cottages imagined as much curiosity cabinets to surprise and amaze you. Old paper, antique furniture, old books and objects mingle happily to recreate the world of the writer of his time and his work. To sleep or find yourself in the quiet heart of Alsace, you put the Green family, colleagues or friends, and why not, for moments of reading or writing in a workshop, push the door of our living spaces, meetings and creation.
