“Perfect getaway for all”

Reviewed 4 Jun 2019

We stayed for one night last Saturday Myself my partner and another couple. The 4 of us stayed in Oso. Ideal mini break away peaceful out in the countryside. All the little details that Nick and Lucy have thought about really do make the stay that little be more special, such as board games and outdoor games available to use at your pleasure. The lodges themselves were lovely and very comfy equipt with everything you needed. We took bbq food with us and bottles of wine. Logs to use as needed to keep the fire going through the evening with just a donation pot. Checked in at 2.30 and out should have been 11 but as no one was booked in for the next day they said no rush getting off so we spent a relaxing morning there too. We will definitely be back and will be bring the kids next time as sure they will love it as much as we did. Thanks again

“Bracken Burrows Getaway”

Reviewed 16 Feb 2019

An absolutely lovely spot within a stones throw of a plethora of little cafés and country pubs. The owners provide a warm welcome upon arrival and provide an information pack for all the best local spots and activities. The accommodation itself is cosy and inviting, whilst still being spacious enough to not be in each other’s way. With a comfortable bed and a log burner to keep the cold away, you couldn’t want for more in the winter months. The near non-existent light pollution made for some lovely stargazing to top off an already extremely pleasant experience. For an affordable, short, getaway I could think of no place better; thoroughly impressed and would definitely make a return visit!
