Description

Kambura villa is situated on the southern most tip of Sri Lanka where there is nothing between it and the South Pole. This southern tip is where huge oil tankers and luxury liners pass on their journeys around the world.

With the recent opening of the new Highway it takes approx 2 hours from airport to arrive this Paradise. We can arrange a vehicle to collect guests if they wish, or alternatively we can arrange the Air Taxi from the Airport in Colombo to Koggala….only 20 minutes away.

From Kambura Villa it is only 5 minutes to Mirissa Harbour to go whale watching, 1 hour to Galle Fort…a UnescoHeritage Site. Guests can also take a day trip to Yala for a safari to see leopards, or go to Udawallawe National park to see the wild elephants,or visit the little known Bundala National Park which is considered by many to be one of the best sites in the world to see migrating birds. We can arrange all these trips for our guests, as well as arrange the gourmet hamper to take with them for a picnic lunch.

Kambura Villa is 10,000 sq ft of 6 star luxury with 5 bedrooms all ensuite, with terraces or balconies, its own gymnasium , cinema room, games room and infinity pool. From the terraces there are incredible views over the Indian Ocean and there is a private stairway to a deserted beach . There is also a huge roof terrace with a 360 degree view over the surrounding area. This is a marvelous place to host a party-or BBQ or simply enjoy the sunset with a drink in hand.

The villa is fully staffed, including a chef, and a state of the art kitchen where International and local dishes are prepared. A super venue for guests, if they wish to learn the art of making a Sri Lankan curry .
