newly renovated historic fisherman's house, 300 meters to the beach The two-story house was built in 1900 and is part of a protected as a cultural monument Fishing Colony. It has a total surface area of ​​about 40 square meters indoors, plus an approximately 9 square meter roof terrace and about 20 square meters front yard. On the ground floor you can comfortably prepare food while you meet on the top floor on a nice bedroom and a bathroom with a bathtub in a custom-made kitchen. The bedroom is furnished with a wardrobe, a double bed and a sofa and has direct access to a roof terrace from which you have a beautiful view of the fishing colony neighboring gardens and the village. A small sitting area on the terrace also possible to have breakfast there or according to taste in small garden where a table is with multiple seating. The historic fishing house has been carefully and, if possible carefully renovated in the winter / spring of 2017, with great emphasis was placed on high-quality materials. So the floors are laid in the ground floor with natural stone (sandstone), for example, the bathroom was equipped with Spanish cement mosaic tiles and in the bedroom quality oak flooring. The furniture are all lovingly restored antiques or handmade wooden furniture. (Like the kitchen) The house also has heating and a fireplace, which provides in the autumn / winter season for comfort. On request, a cot for a flat rate payment of 30 euros can be placed in total. Location Vilassar de Mar is one of the most beautiful places on Barcelona's coast (Costa Maresme). Its historical core with a pretty, unobstructed pedestrian zone and numerous historic mansions and stately buildings bear witness to the centuries-long wealth of its inhabitants. A stone's throw from the pedestrian area, you go to a small, quiet passage: there is the house in a protected as a cultural monument fishermen colony of 1900. The beach (sandy beach) is within walking distance in about 5 minutes (350 meters). The shopping for daily needs are only a few meters away, the train connection in Barcelona's downtown is excellent: Just a 35-minute drive along the coast at the heart of Barcelona can be reached directly Plaza Catalunya. The train leaves regularly every 8 minutes.

The train to Barcelona city center is top notch. After 35 minutes takes you directly to Plaza Catalunya, the heart of Barcelona. The train leaves regularly every 8 minutes. The surrounding villages in the hinterland can be explored by bus and or the S-Bahn.

This beautiful, modern unit is walking distance from the beach and just a short train ride to Barcelona. We loved every minute of our stay. We hope to visit again in the future!
