Description

The Ellingham Cottages have a selection of two and three bedroom cottages - all fully equipped, spacious, spotless and comfortable. With a large garden and guest library stocked with up-to-date titles, games, toys and beach items, there is plenty to do. This three-bedroom apartment is on the first floor and has an open plan kitchen/living room. We provide a welcome hamper with local Guernsey produce, so that you can sit and relax as soon as you arrive.

The Ellingham Cottages are located in a rural area yet only a few minutes walk from grocery stores, many restaurants and pubs, an old-fashioned bakery, post office, chemist and petrol station.

A ten minutes walk will take you to Guernsey’s dramatic cliffs and beaches. From here, you can take coastal and harbour paths the entire perimeter of the island, should you wish!

Plus, the Cottages are only five minutes drive to the quaint town of St Peter Port, with it's cobbled lanes, boutiques and VAT-free shopping. In the evening, enjoy a meal at one of the high-quality restaurants or pubs within walking distance.

The apartment welcomes guests arriving on a Saturday and sleeps 6 people (plus one infant in a travel cot). Please note that the apartment is not suitable for guests with mobility issues as is on the first floor and accessible via a flight of stairs (no lift).

Guernsey is a quick and easy flight from a number of UK airports, with the main connections being run by Aurigny and Blue Island, plus Logan Air and BA operate seasonal flights. Condor operates a ferry service from Portsmouth and Poole in the UK, Cherbourg and St. Malo in France and also Jersey. Manche Isles Express provides Guernsey to Northern France routes. Hire Cars are readily available although many guests choose to walk, ride bikes or use the reliable and frequent Guernsey bus. More detailed instructions on how to get to The Ellingham Cottages by car, by bus, or by taxi, are available to guests after booking. Instructions are provided for both Guernsey Airport and St Peter Port Harbour.

When you arrive at The Ellingham Cottages, there will be someone to welcome you and to show you your cottage and other facilities. The owners are found each day in the Office (or pottering!) and are more than happy to chat and provide guidance and recommendations on what to do to make the most of your holiday in Guernsey.
