Getting around

Transportation is easy here. Guests rarely rent cars from the 5 available agencies because taxis are courteous, punctual and affordable. (eg. FJ$13.50 to town) There are also buses that run every couple hours for FJ$1.60pp to town or catch an available taxi returning to town for the same bus fare. We have our own shady bus shelter at the lushly landscaped side of the highway.

Interaction with guest

The resident manager enjoys socializing with guests from around the world. At the same time, he recognizes you did not come here to visit him. heehee. Your privacy is of utmost importance. Yet, he is a sociable guy and is available when needed or invited. Resident staff has been with us since 1992 and live on property 300m/1000ft away. They are like family and available if and when you like. Otherwise, because this is such a large property, you will hardly know they are there besides occasional grounds maintenance.

My mother put a lot of tender loving care into the interior design. She will be thrilled to read this. Yes, the 15 min walk out to the snorkeling lagoon is a bit of a "slog" (hehe). But I figure if was any easier to get to, it might be spoiled already by too much traffic. As it is, it remains pristine and full of life. But, like you say, there is always the swimming lagoon a short 5 min walk down the beach. Take good care and we hope to see you here again in The Ultimate Paradise! Cheers! Gene
