Description

Part of historic Wheathampstead Place, owned by two former Prime Ministers, our groun floor apartment is modern, light and airy with 2 good size bedrooms (super-king and king beds which can be split into singles on request) with a master bathroom and second toilet. Parking for 2 cars. They are next to our home and well cared for.

The apartment includes an Aqua-Lisa smart rain shower (thermostatically blended water temperatures controlled at the touch of a button), coffee machine, Smart TV, decent wifi, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, built in wardrobes (both bedrooms) and small garden at the front shared with the first floor apartment.

Both the Super King bed in the master bedroom and the King bed in the second bedroom can be made into single beds on request.

Getting around

We are 15-20 minutes drive from Luton airport. Very frequent and fast (20-25 minutes) trains into London from Harpenden or St Albans. There is a regular bus service to St Albans, Harpenden and Luton as well as a good taxi service. Uber is great for coming back to Wheathampstead from central London at the end of a long day. From central London, without traffic, it's 40-45 minutes.

“Excellent all round.”

Excellent accomodation. Well situated. Accomodating host, pulled us out of trouble. Beds are really comfortable and I wish I had that shower at home. Would thoroughly recommend.

If Jannine and Mike (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
