This charming, countryside cottage is on the outskirts of the village Castleton in the Peak District and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Buttercup cottage is a rustic, charming cottage situated on the outskirts of the village of Castleton in the Peak District. The cottage can sleep four people in two king-size double bedrooms (1 x zip/link, can be twin on request), as well as a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The cottage also contains a kitchen, an open plan living area with dining area and sitting area, as well as a separate sitting room with a multi-fuel stove. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for one car and an enclosed patio garden with furniture. Located in the stunning countryside, Buttercup Cottage is a lovely cottage is in a fabulous part of the Peak District.

Electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, 3 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, Blu-ray, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stoves inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking for 1 car. Enclosed patio garden with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pubs 5 mins walk.

Region: The ultimate in year-round appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: The Peak District village of Castleton is situated at the top of the Hope Valley. The village is a draw to walkers and all manner of outdoor enthusiasts wanting to follow the paths, conquer the Winnats Pass or have a go at caving. Castleton has an array of shops, pubs and a Visitor Centre with its small museum explaining life in the Hope Valley. Nearby are the villages of Edale, the start of the Pennine Way, Hope and Hathersage. Enjoy a day out at Alton Towers or visit the impressive Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Also within easy reach are Buxton, Matlock Bath and Carsington Water.

What a wonderful cottage! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need pretty much and the garden is lovely. The aesthetic in general is just gorgeous.
