Description

The house, which is mine, is on the peninsula L'Isla( Senglea) in a central location. There are two rooms for rent. The house has a warm,welcoming atmosphere and everyone's privacy is respected. Each room is spacious and has luxurious en suite bathrooms. The interiours have been restored with great taste and attention to detail. All to make your stay as pleasurable as possible.

At the top floor you will find the guest kitchen, fully equipped with stove, oven and microwave, where you can prepare your meals. A washing machine is also available( for a fee). There are two terraces on the roof where you can admire the view of the Grand Harbour and Valletta, a site protected by UNESCO. Across the water is Fort Saint Angelo, erected by the Knights of Saint John. Or, you can just have a look at all the luxurious yachts and sail boats anchored at your feet.

Served breakfast on request, is not included in the room.

The large terrace is also equipped with a barbecue, nice deck chairs and tables.

Getting around

Every 30 minutes you can travel to Valletta by public transport, either by bus or by the convenient ferry boats. From Valletta you have routes all over the island. You may also rent a car or a scooter. Remember that in Malta there is left hand traffic. In Isla parking is free but it is possible, that you have to walk a little bit. But Isla is small. If you stay longer a car is recommendet, if you stay in the near you dont use a car.

Interaction with guest

On the terraces or in the library you can discover all the facets of this island. I will be at your disposal for tips, advice and recommendations. I can also arrange tickets for various cultural events or organize an appointment for a weekly massage. There are numerous cultural events: local festas, religous processions, firework festivals, regattas, Rolex Middle Sea Race...always something interesting to experience! If you like beaches you need a car or a scooter.
