Beautiful 2 bed villa with en-suites to both bedrooms and private swimming pool.The villa is located in Ayia Triada, a beach resort on the east coast of Cyprus, close to Protaras and Pernera. Free Wifi throughout and perfect for smaller children and a famility friendly resort.

Astipalea Villa No 8 is a 2-bedroom villa that has recently been refurnished and is perfect for smaller families. It comes with all the mod-cons you would expect from a modern villa. Both bedrooms are upstairs; the master bedroom has a king-sized bed, en-suite shower / WC and a balcony which overlooks the pool. The second bedroom has twin single beds which can be zipped together to make a super-king bed; it also has an en-suite shower / WC. There is space for cots in both bedrooms and plenty of hanging and storage space for clothes.

Downstairs is open-plan with kitchen, dining area, comfy lounge and a guest WC. There are two sets of patio doors that open out to the pool area. Gates secure the villa and its grounds from the rest of the quiet cul-de-sac. If required, toddler fencing can be put up, with a playhouse and outside toys, at the side of the villa around the gazebo area, which is accessed by one set of patio doors. This enables you to leave that doors open so toddlers can play inside or outside in the fenced area and away from the 8m x 4m pool. If you prefer the beach/ sea don’t worry, it’s just 5 minutes’ walk to the safe and sandy Ayia Triada (‘Holy Trinity’) beach; a little further in the opposite direction is the Golden Coast hotel beach.

A quiet, secluded garden with bordering plants and a large Cypriot style stone built BBQ, which is great for cooking outside. There are sun loungers and a large sun umbrella with the pool. The outside gazebo area has dining for 4 people and there is garden lighting so you dine al fresco late into the evening.

Although plenty of street parking is available there is a driveway if you would like to park the car in the villa grounds and there is a bolted gate to ensure you control access to the garden.

Famagusta district: Protaras/ Pernera

The villa is located in Ayia Triada, a beach resort on the east coast of Cyprus, close to Protaras and Pernera.. Ayia Triada is a 45-minute drive from Larnaca airport and is an up-and-coming town; it has all the amenities of a bigger resort without the disadvantages. It is minutes away from golden, sandy beaches and several restaurants and shops. There with more restaurants, bars and supermarkets in neighbouring Kapparis.

There are 3 local beaches to choose from:

Ayia Triada is a family beach ideal for toddlers to play at the water’s edge safely. The beach has a small boat jetty which is always good for a stroll with the kids.

Golden Coast beach is a little further, on the way in Pernera, and is part of a large hotel offering all the normal facilities. Parking is available at the beaches if you have plenty to carry.

Malama bay is the furthest local beach and is part of a hotel resort offering pool, restaurant and bar along with spa and shop.

All the beaches are sandy and very sheltered (so perfect for paddling) and along the edges of the coves there are rocky pools & caves to explore! The snorkeling is amazing. The two main beaches (Malama and Ayia Triada) are very well maintained and have sunbeds & umbrellas for hire (€2.50 a day) and Malama bay has a nice tavern where you can enjoy a cold beer and watch the sun go down.

Ayia Triada has several traditional restaurants offering local fayre and specializing in fish. A local grill house offers eat-in and takeaway kebabs and burgers if you fancy a lazy evening around the pool.

Kapparis is a very family friendly town with many restaurants including Italian, Cypriot & Greek European. There is a very nice modern Italian place (called Just Italian) and 3 local Cypriot restaurants that we really like. Our personal favourite is Faliros which serves fantastic food, cocktails are only 3 Euros and they have great entertainment on Thursdays and Fridays.

There are plenty of bars, which are very relaxed with comfy soft sofas inside & out where you can relax, to the sports bars that focus more on the latest live sports, play grounds and have pool tables etc.

There are plenty of other shops and a fabulous bakery called Zorbas which has every type of dessert you could imagine; cakes, breads, sweets. They also do takeaway food like lasagna, roast chicken etc if you don't fancy cooking.

There are 3 supermarkets in Kapparis that cover all the basics; like food, fresh fruit and veg, frozen foods, children's essentials (nappies, baby food etc), fun things for pool and beach, and a well-stocked off license, Bottoms Up!, where you can get local and imported beers, wines and spirits.

Just up the road is a fabulous butcher, for all your barbecue needs.
