Description
This wonderful five-bedroom villa is located in a peaceful residential area of the small village of Rédené in a very popular part of southern Brittany, renowned for its coastal scenery, lovely sandy beaches, pretty fishing villages and opportunities for walking, cycling, horse riding and more.
The property is set in a cul-de-sac and not overlooked within walking distance of a bakery, butcher, newsagent and creperie and only 10 minutes’ drive from several sandy beaches. There is a surf school 10 km away offering surfing courses, canoeing, kite surfing and jet skiing.
Set in a handy location and with easy access to the nearby town of Quimperlé (6 km), the busy port of Lorient (20 km) and also small villages such as Guidel (10 km), Pont-Aven (25 km) and Le Pouldu (19 km) - great for children with sandy stretches, coves, rock pools and some fine places to eat moules-frites.
200m (bakery, butcher, small supermarket, newsagent, creperie, pizzeria, chemist). Supermarket 6km.
LIVING AREA
Ground floor living room (25m²) with two sofas, 3 armchairs, TV, DVD player, hi-fi, wood burner (wood provided free of charge). Dining area with table and chairs. Sliding doors leading to a furnished terrace and garden.
KITCHEN
Modern kitchen (12m²) opening onto the dining area. Oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, American fridge, kettle, coffee machine and toaster. Sliding door leading to terrace with barbecue. Laundry room with washing machine, drier, iron and ironing board.
BEDROOMS
Ground floor: Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with dressing room. En-suite shower room. Mid level Bedroom 2: Double bedroom.
First floor Bedroom 3: Bedroom with Queen size bed (160 x 200cm). Bedroom 4: Bedroom with three single beds (90 x 190cm).
Bedroom 5: Double bed (140 x 190cm) and single bed (90 x 200cm). Mezzanine: Double sofa bed, TV and Wii console (no games provided).
Capacity restricted for your comfort.
BATHROOMS
Ground floor: En-suite shower room with wc. Separate wc. Mid level: Bathroom with corner bath, separate Italian shower, double basin and wc. Hair dryer.
EXTERIOR
Enclosed grounds (800m²) with exotic plants. A great spot for relaxing. Large decked terrace (80m²) with large awning. Outdoor furniture. Built-in barbecue, 6 sun loungers and 6 armchairs. Table tennis table. Parking for several vehicles and car port for two cars.
POOL
Outdoor heated swimming pool (heated year round to 27°c) with retractable cover and counter current. Alarm. Pool size: 6m x 3m. Depth: 1.5m throughout. Steps. Hot tub (heated to 35°c), sauna, shower and gym equipment.
INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Water and electricity (villa and pool heating).
SECURITY DEPOSIT
600€ or £500 cash, refunded on departure.
PAYABLE LOCALLY
Holiday tax (taxe de sejour) 1.30€ per person per day.
Pets 25€ per pet per week (maximum 2).
End of stay cleaning included for one-week booking. 50€ cleaning fee payable locally for two-week bookings.
CHANGEOVER DAY
Check-in on Saturday between 5pm - 8pm. Checkout before 11am. In low season non-Saturday arrivals/departures may be considered. Please ask for details.
OTHER INFORMATION
End of stay cleaning included but the property must be left clean (kitchen, dishes done and put away, bins emptied and all linen put together).
Small pets welcome. An additional security deposit of 100€ is required. Please ask at the time of booking
Cot, highchair and stair gate available on request.
Optional extras: Beds made up on arrival 15€ per bed. Towel hire 10€ per person.
