Description

The Loft is a fully equipped cottage located on the bold ocean on the midcoast area in New Harbor, Maine. Sit on the full sized deck and enjoy the smell of the ocean breezes and hear the relaxing sounds of the waves washing up on the rocks. An early riser can see the sun come up in the morning and the moon rise in the evening. From the deck you can watch as lobstermen ply their trade hauling lobster traps that hold our Maine delicacy, homerus americanus (Maine Lobster).

The fully glassed in front of the house has the living room and the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your gourmet cooking needs. The living room has a TV with cable access.

WiFi is provided and cell service is excellent.

The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with closet and bureaus. The second bedroom has a pair of twin beds, and a library, so you don't need pack any books.

All linens and towels are provided.

Getting around

Being off the beaten path, so to speak, there is no public transportation so a car is necessary. You'll want to at least take a day trip on the Hardy Boat to visit Monhegan Island which is about 10 miles offshore and has been an artist colony for years, featuring Rockwell Kent and Jamie Wyeth among many others. You can bring your bike as there is lots of good riding available.
