Description
Villa Anna Maria is situated on the South side of Kefalonia in the resort of Skala, one of the most popular resorts on the Island. Famous for its beautiful long sandy beach which stretches over 4 Kilometers with the villa being only 40 M from the beach, its nothing more than a short stroll down to the sea and a 5 minute walk into the friendly center with your nearest supermarket being only a minute's walk away. With its traditional village square and church there is a lovely laid back vibe with plenty of Taverna's, Cocktail Bars and Restaurants to work your way through.The Villa is situated in a great location just off the main beach road of Skala. There is a lovely high street leading down to the main village square with plenty of shops to browse in addition the resort offers some great watersport facilities. Regular boat excursions leave daily from Skala to take you around the Island, visiting places like Fiskardo in the North. Boat trips to Zakynthos and Ithaka are also very popular and a must whilst you are here.

“Excellent place to stay”
This is a fabulous villa, very clean and in the best location. It was our first time to Skala and it truly felt like we have found a perfect holiday spot! It's opposite the beach but only 10minutes walk to the town. Elaine was an excellent host and provided a wonderful welcome to the villa, thank you so much. We felt we were in good hands and had support if needed. I would sincerely recommend this as a place to relax and to enjoy... as me and my friend have!

“Absolutely Perfect!”
We have just returned home from our stay in Villa Anna Maria and we honestly can’t rate it or the lovely owners highly enough. Such a beautiful place with every little detail thought of. The gardens and pool area are immaculate, with comfortable padded loungers, and a more shaded area for outside dining. In the evening, it comes alive with subtle little hidden lights which you don’t notice in the daytime, just beautiful.The villa itself is bright and airy and truly spotless. Owners, Elaine and Tasos, are just wonderful. From the completely unexpected, but so appreciated groceries which were waiting for us on our arrival, to their help organising taxis for us when we needed them, they were perfect. Such lovely people, we felt welcomed straight away, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. With a selection of water sports and a beautiful sandy beach just 5 mins walk from the villa, there’s plenty to do, even for our 2 teenagers! The Main Street is around a 10 min walk away, with a great choice of friendly, good quality restaurants, and plenty of shops. We’ve been to Skala many times over the years, but we have honestly never had as lovely an experience as our stay here. Calm and relaxing, an amazing find. We came home 3 days ago and have just booked to go back again next year! Just perfect.
